a boring day

Rosé's pov

After breakfast,I hastily sat down on my cycle,to rush towards jimin
He is the most idiotic person I know, yesterday,knowing he has an allergy of pets,he still took in that grey little kitten,I just can't be more worried of him

As I reached there,I ranged the bell,a hundred times before he opened it
"Jimin?" I called out
"What?" He asked like nothing has ever happened
"Your nos-"
"Yes its red" he replied with a laugh
"It's SWOLLEN!" I panicked
"Where is that kitten? Let me take him!" I worried as I tried to look over into his house
"He's not at home" he replied guiding me to his backyard

There,I saw that little furball playing with the baby pink petals of the cheery blossom tree,they fell as he  was trying to catch them all with his little pink paws

I couldn't help but be in an awe
"Where's kochi?" He asked innocently
"Do you think I will bring her in,to make you even more sick? Not even in dreams!" I replied crossing my arms

"Why not?" He laughed
"Because I care for you isn't it obvious?" I didn't knew this sentence would have an impact on us,we had dead silence between us for 2 mins
Before I tried to break it
"So what are you naming him?"
"Do you want something to eat?" Jimin said at the same time,as me trying to break the silence

"Uhh maybe coff-"
"Okay coffee,I will be back" he hastened back into the house

"So what should I name you cute Lil furry ball?" I asked the little kitten,who didn't understood anything and stared at me with his big emerald eyes
As I tried to pick it up,It got scared so I left him to his own,to relax a bit

As I entered his house,the scent made me nostalgic yet again,it felt completely like home,the aroma of roasted coffee reached till the backyard

I smiled as I saw him making coffee on the kitchen counter
He seems like such a calm person,but today he was not what I thought him to be
He hustled,as he saw me come in
"Why are you getting so anxious today?" I asked casually
"Uhh I'm making coffee?" He responded with a clumsy smile
"Stop staring at me!" He replied
I laughed at his reaction

"What should we do today?" He asked handling me the coffee almost dropping the cup
"It's better if we stay home today haha" I replied awkwardly seeing all of his clumsiness
He gulped in a nervous manner,and nodded

I was annoyed,searching for something to watch on the damn TV
Not a single show suited the vibe I was feeling then
Jimin couldn't help but yawn,as he got tired
"Yes! This is the one!" I got excited seeing that one series I wanted to see from so long
"What series is this?"
"Listen,this is the best rated among people nowadays,everyone in my school has seen this!" I explained excitedly
"Explain me the storyline" he yawned again before continuing

Jimin didn't seemed impressed hearing the story line,yet he smiled "Okay then,let's watch this"

The couch was small,and it was taken over by jimin,his plushies and blankets,I couldn't find a spot to settle in
He read the awkwardness on my face and signaled me to sit besides him
I denied,yet he signaled one more time so I gave in
He took me inside those cozy violet  blankets,they were warm
It felt comfortable

I have never been this close to him

Jimin was bored throughout the episode,yet he kept his calm and nodded to the gibberish chaeyoung was talking about in between
It was not until he noticed the episode was over,he sighed heavily

Chaeyoung stretched out her arms,"it was fun right?"
He hummed in response
"To be honest,I don't like series or even any kind of show" jimin confessed
"What? Why WHY?" Chaeyoung couldn't believe what he just said
"I just prefer books more you know.. like I always like a book in my hand,in complete silence I always sit below that blossom tree in my backyard with my matcha,this just feels superior" he replied with a satisfied smile

Chaeyoung nodded as she understood what he wanted to say,Glancing out of the window and observing that tree,she constantly thought something was missing,yet she couldn't pin point it

It struck her mind as she shouted "jimin that grey kitten!"
He couldn't help but panic as well,rushing through the window just to find that kitten peacefully sleeping

"I'm taking him home" Chaeyoung sternly said
"No you can't" jimin refused
"Bye" chayoung consciously picked up the kitten not trying to wake it up,and put it in the basket of her cycle

"Chayoung please" jimin pleaded
"I care for you! I don't want you to get sick" She replied
Which left him with no words again
"Let me come at your house then" jimin argued getting on his cycle
He somehow persuaded her as they headed out

Kochi was confused,as she saw that kitten for the first time she gently tapped on her head with her white paws
Meanwhile
"What kind of music do you like?" Chaeyoung asked him as he settled in at her house
"Chill music,with more of music rather than vocal" he replied
"You don't like like hip hop?" She asked
"No,i find it way too much for me"
Chaeyoung frowned at his answers
"You are such an old man" She teased him
"But still,I love your appreciation for art,nature and music" She replied with an innocent smile

"Jimin?" Her mom entered the room excitedly
"Hello" he smiled waving his hands
"What should I bring for you something to drink? Wait maybe-"
" Oh no,I don't want anything" he replied
"Wait it's time for dinner,you can have dinner with us!" She replied
"WHAT?" Both of them spoke at the same time

"But-"
"You are staying with us for today" her mom exclaimed
"No I can't i-"
"Please,we would love it if you stay" She persuaded him
Chaeyoung couldn't help but think of the consequences
She strongly disliked this idea

"Okay" jimin smiled as he couldn't deny all of her requests
