The sizzling hot squid jajangmyeon was placed on the mini table,the house was full of the aroma of the black bean sauce,jimin was anxious yet agitated to see what comes next
Chaeyoung called him over for dinner,he had no choice to follow her That little kitten following him behind Seeing the delectable food,he quickly jumped right in
Throughout the dinner,her mom kept on asking him millions of questions about how the food was All he did was compliment even the tiniest things on the plate
"Your mom makes the best food in the whole world" he exclaimed satisfied "Why you're mom doesn't?" She asked suddenly "She isn't here anymore,an unfortunate incident made her leave me" he replied as his expression changed in a quick "I'm sorry" She tried to comfort him She ripped up the packets of cat food and poured them over in those little blue bowls of kochi and that kitten They hastily suck up on all the fish without even chewing it
"My mom,dad are going out,so you can go home when they do so" She said As she had noticed how uncomfortable he was back then "I know you are uncomfortable here" She continued further "I'm not,you're family is really welcoming and gentle,I always wanted such a family,you are really fortunate" he replied with a soft smile "Chaeyoung,we are leaving! If you're friend needs something please don't refuse him,and go to sleep before 11 you got it?" Her mom ordered sliding the door of her room open She nodded in response She opened up the curtains of her wide window and let the flowing breeze enter
As they left,chaeyoung jumped around the room "its party time!" She laughed "What? I don't like parties" he frowned "Well you can go home then" She replied "I don't want to,let's go out for a walk,we ate alot didn't we?" He requested "We can have a dance party! And who doesn't like dancing? I'm sure you will lo-" "You play the guitar?" He got amused as he saw her guitar "Yes,but recently I don't play it that much" She replied
He took the cover off it and scanned the whole guitar,collecting that she is fond of the color lavender,he smiled "This is a pretty guitar" he exclaimed as he started to play it The melody really had such an impact,everything went silent only thing was to be heard was the sound of the guitar,the wind chimes and the gentle breeze The crickets buzzed,as he stopped playing to look at her for a moment She tilted her small head as a confused gesture "This song is for you" he stated before starting again, a song She had heard before,she recalled the memories she had of last summer Her breath slowed down,as she smiled unknowingly Her heart went light,she forgot all of her problems As he strung the last string he looked up on her "Feeling better?" He asked gently putting the guitar back into its cover "To be honest,the best I have felt in a while" She replied
As they sat there,talking about almost everything in the world,she finally got up "its literally 10:45,my moms gonna kill me if she doesn't see me asleep" "Let's have our skincare done shall we?" She asked He nodded
The birds chirped,as he woke up,he had slept in the guest room,somewhat an unfamiliar place It was 5 in the morning everyone was asleep even though it was his usual timing to wake up,he brewed some matcha before he went on to his everyday cycling
He reached his house as he started cleaning his dishes of the day before yesterday,he made some avocado toasts and a strawberry smoothie for breakfast before cleaning his whole house,he sighed sitting on his couch,it was his time to relax
He picked out a book he had been on and sat near his cherry blossom tree With his breakfast,the weather hadi t bright,as always the sky was clear and the clouds gently drifted,as the trees gently danced to the waves of the heavenly winds
Before he could take his first bite,millions of bells ringed as he saw chaeyoung who was ferocious and ready to kill someone
"Woah what happened?" He asked confused "YOU idiot! You didn't even told anyone that you were leaving!" She complained "You all were sleeping,did you expect me to shout in everyone's ears that I was leaving?" He laughed Even though she tried,she couldn't hold in her laughter She held his hand as she dragged him to his backyard "What are you doing here?" She asked
"Reading a book" he replied simply "I have got a way better idea than that" She ran towards her cycle which barely could hold those big square white cardboards "Let's paint!" "What?"
"You told me you love art right?" "Well yeah but I don't think I'm good at it and I'm not in the mood eith-" he replied "Come on-" She pleaded "Chaeyoung no,please give me my personal space" he replied,raising his voice for the first time ever "Jimin,atleast once,I thought-" She concerned "I'm sorry,but please Chaeyoung,I wanna stay alone" he tried to make her understand "Just give me 1 hour jimin!" She pleaded "Just stop it Chaeyoung! I have a life of my own! We can't be together forever,I want my personal space too!" He raised his voice
It didn't took even a second for that anger to heat up her mind "You know what? I just tried to spend some time with you,but seems like you don't care about me at all!" She replied fuming in anger "What? Please don't misunderstand,I just want some alone time!" He replied trying to stay calm "You deserve to be alone!" With that, she hastily collected all the stuff and drifted away in her cycle "Chaeyoung its-" Before he could speak,she already had faded away in the horizon
He thought he was too rude and started second guessing his choices,he had no intention of hurting her,jimin just wanted some alone time,even though it was unnatural somehow hurting her also hurted,him He thought that it was the right time to tell her about that one feeling,maybe it will make her realize Maybe she will realize,that he loved her
