Chapter 30: Epilogue

3rd person POV

Rachel never did regain her full memory; only bits and pieces. They ended up having three more kids. Samuel Howard Wilkinson Jr. and Emma Mae Wilkinson were born on June 5th. Rachel died of childbirth at the end of her last pregnancy. Rachel Elizabeth Wilkinson was born a year and a half later on February 5th, Rachel's birthday.

Sammy never did handle it well, and spent most of the time locked in his room. He barely ever ate, and never spoke.

"Sam," Skate knocks on Sammy's door. No answer. "Sam," he says again. No answer. He opens the door, and it's surprisingly unlocked.

Sam just lay in bed, staring at the wall.

"Sam," Skate walked over to him, "You need to eat."

"No." Sammy said.

"You look like you weigh nothing,"

No reply.

"Fine," Skate got up and left.

Sammy's POV

Rachel. That's all I can think of. I miss her. I don't want to live with out her. I get out of bed and grab a pen and paper.

Dear Skate and Jack,
Thank you for being there for me. I love you for that. I need you two to do something for me though, watch my kids. I know it's selfish of me to just leave my kids here with you two, but I love Rachel too much. I can't live without her. Tell my kids I'm sorry, but that I'm watching over them from heaven. I love each and everyone of you. Tell my kids to chase their dreams, and live life to it's fullest. I love y'all. And remember, no one is stopping you.

-Sammy.

I leave this note on my bed and go to the bathroom and grab a bunch of pills. "I'm sorry," I whisper.

I swallow all the pills and wait for them to work.

"I'll see you soon Rachel,"

3rd person POV

Skate walked into Sammy's room later that afternoon and saw the note on the bed. "Shit!" He yelled. "Jack! Get up here!" Tears streamed down his face. Jack came up and saw the note in Skate's hand. They walked to the bathroom and saw Sam.

Sam was found dead at 3:37 pm, August 5th, the 15th anniversary of his wedding.

A/N So that's the end of the book! I was literally crying as I wrote this and I still am. I hope everyone enjoyed this book, as I did writing it!
