1:00am

I was sleeping good until I heard my phone ring. I looked up and looked around to see there was no Ace in the bed with me. I picked up my phone and answered it.

"Hello?" I said

"Lani come to the hospital right now" Glizzy said

"Why what's wrong?" I asked sitting up

"Just come to the hospital sis" Glizzy said

"Okay, I'm coming right now" I said

"Ight" Glizzy said

I hung up and got up slipping some pajama pants on and slipped on my bedroom shoes. I grabbed my phone out the charger and opened the door running out my room to grab my keys and purse. I ran to the door and opened it leaving out and shutting and locking it and unlocked the car door. I got in and put my purse on the seat and started the car up putting my seat belt on. I started the car up and pulled out the drive way making my way to the hospital.

I finally pulled into the hospital parking lot looking for a park. I finally found one and parked the car and took my seatbelt off turning the car off and grabbing my purse and keys. I got out the car locking the door and headed into the hospital.

"Leilani" Glizzy said

Axe whole gang was here but there was no Ace. Where was he?

"What's going on.. where's Ace?" I asked

"That's.. that's why we here" Glizzy said

"Huh?" I said

"Ace got into a car accident. He's in surgery right now we waiting on the doctor" Glizzy said

"Wha-what.." I said as my eyes got watery

"Some drunk driver hit him he was just here a min ago apologizing" Glizzy said

"Oh my god" I said

"Come sit down.." Glizzy said

"No.. I- I need to be with him.. I didn't get to.. " I said

I couldn't even get my words out of how heartbroken I was. I didn't even get to tell Ace how I really felt about him.. what if I lose him?

"Come sit down sis.. Ace told me to look after you just in case anything happened" Glizzy said

"Where's the doctor?" I said

"We waiting come sit.." Glizzy said

I went and sat in the chair and Glizzy sat beside me.

"He strong he gone pull through.. I promise " Glizzy said

"I hope so.. I need him here" I said

"I know sis" Glizzy said

I tried to calm down the best I could but I just couldn't process any of this. Why him?

We've been waiting for 30 mins and I was starting to get very impatient.

"Wheres the fucking doctor though?" I asked

"I don't know sis" Glizzy said

"Oh my god I feel like I'm about to pass out.." I said

I just needed to know if Ace was going to be okay that's all I wanted to know.

"Family of Kedravious Smith?" The doctor said

I got up fast and walked over to him.

"Yes?" I said

"I'm sorry to inform you but Mr smith is in a coma" The doctor said

Once he said that I felt my knees get weak I was about to fall to the ground until Glizzy caught me.

"Oh my god.. " I said

"How long he gone be in a coma doc?" Glizzy asked

"We don't know depends on how he's responding. Could be days, weeks, months, years" The doctor said

"Oh my god.." I said again

"You guys can go visit him anytime right now visiting hours right now. They start at 9 to 9 tonight" The doctor said

"Okay appreciate it man" Glizzy said

"Come on sis get up" Glizzy said

I got slowly and walked out the hospital. I stood outside crying my eyes out I couldn't believe the shit I was hearing right now.

"Have you told his grandma?" I asked as Glizzy came outside

"Nah we gone tell her in the morning we don't want to give her a heart attack but she needs to know" Glizzy said

"Can you take me to my moms house?" I asked

"You sure?" Glizzy asked

"Yea I can't be at his house while he's not there and I can't be home alone" I said

"Ight yea ima just follow you Ight" Glizzy said

"I can't drive in this state of mind" I said

"Aye Bean can you drive her car and follow us?" Glizzy asked

"Yea" Bean said

"Just give your keys to Bean and he gone follow us" Glizzy said

"You sure?" I asked

"Yea" Glizzy said

I gave my keys to Glizzy and he gave them to Bean and I followed him to his car. He unlocked the door and I got in putting my seat belt on and turned the other way looking out the window.

I felt the car start moving and I just sat there in silence. I was still shocked at what I just heard I just can't believe this just happened with Ace.

"Sis I know you gone be staying with your mom but ima still need to check up on you cause Ace told me to watch over you if something happened and that's what ima do. So ima need you to put your number in my phone" Glizzy said

I didn't say anything I heard him though I just didn't feel like talking. My heart was literally hurting so bad I literally just met this man and was falling in love with him and now I wasn't able to tell him that because I don't know when he's going to wake up. I don't even know if he's okay.. I'm just so broken right now. What I'm I going to tell My when she asks to speak to him? I don't wanna break down in front of her but I feel that's exactly what I'm going to do.

"Sis he gone be Ight " Glizzy said

I hope so.. I really hope he's going to be okay.
