We sit down at the table and Eddie starts the campaign
"The hooded cultists chant, hail Lord vecna..... hail Lord vecna they turn too you, remove their hoods. you recognise most of them from mukbar but there is ine you dint recognise"
Eddie says as we all watch him in anticipation
"His skin shrivled..... desicated but there's something else....
he is not only missing his left arm"
he says as he puts his arm behind his back and leans over the table
"BUT HIS LEFT EYE"
"Whatt noo" I moan as everyone shouts
"VECNAS DEAD"
"He was killed by kas" Mike shouted
"So it was thought my friends. so it was thought" Eddie says
"BUT VECNA LIVES" He shouts as he puts vecna back on his thrown

"You are scared......you are tired....... you are injured do you flee vecna and his cultists?" Eddie says as he looks at us

"Guys I hate to say this but we have got to flee" gareth moans

"Vecna just decimated us we can't kill him with two players"
"You too?" Dustin says
"Vecna has 15 hitpoints left.... don't be pussies"

"HEY" Eddie shouts we turn too look at him kneeling on his chair
"If I may interject, gentlemen, lady applejack , freak" he says
"Whilst I respect your passion you'd be wise to take Gareth the greats concern to heart...... there is noooooo shame in running, don't try to be heros"
we all look at him with surprised faces
"Not today. Kay?" He smiles
"One sec" Dustin says as we huddle up again

"How many hitpoints do you and applejack have left?" Mike asks

"But your the ones on the battlefield, so it's your call" Mike says

"Screw it" Dustin says as he turns around to face Eddie "Let's kill the son of a bitch"

"But the success chances are 20 to 1"

We watch in anticipation as it rolls...... rolls..... rolls
It lands on 6
"Noooooo" I say
"THATS A MISS" Eddie says
"SHIT" Dustin shouts
"Hand me the dice" Erica says
She shakes in her hands all of this years work us leading to this one moment
"Please come onnnn" Dustin shouts
"TO THE DEATHHHHHH" I yell as Erica throws the dice across the table
Once again it rolls....... rolls.... rolls. then It stops TWENTYYYYYYYY
"CRIT HIT" Erica yells
"YEAHHHHHHH" I Shout

"What? What?" Eddie says in suprise

"That's why we play" Eddie says as he smiles at Erica
"I told you it was a good idea to go too the death never doubt me" I say

"I can't believe we did it" I said to Eddie
"I never thought it would happen" he says
"So you ready to go" I ask him
"Uh I've got to do a deal so I might be later getting home so if you want you can just bike home or I can take you after"
"Oh thats fine don't worry ill just bike im tired anyway" I said
"You sure you can always sleep in my van while you wait"

"You'll never guess who I'm doing the deal with though" he said "who?"
"CRISSY CUNINGHAM" He says "WHAT? really? That is very unexpected" I say to him "I know right she wants something really strong aswell" he says

"I kinda feel bad for her I see her cone out from the councilors office sometimes i hope shes ok" I say looking at eddie
"Dont worry I'm sure she's fine" Eddie says
"Yh, hopefully anyway I should get going good luck I'll see you later ok"
"See you later be safe" he says. I walk out the door and go outside and see the others.
I also see people coming from the hall o guess the basketball finished I see lucss from the corner if my eye walking on his own
"LUCAS" I shout he turns around to look at me as I run towards him "how did the game go?" I ask
"We won" he says "no way that's amazing did you score?"
"Yep the winning shot last second" WHAT THATS AMAZING IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. You'll be pro in no time " I say as I lightly nudge his arm.
"How did hellfire go?" He asks "it was pretty good vecna came back"
"Really?" He asks surprised "yeah but we defeated him, we fought to the death asn with 15 hitpoints left Erica rolled a D20 and rolled 20" I said "wow I didn't know she had it in her" lucas said "why dont you come yo hellfire again soon when you want?"
"I'll think about it" he says
"SINCLAIR" I Hear and turn around to see Jason "Why are you talking to the freak cone on Let's go" he says
"Sorry dani I'll see you later bye" he says as he walks off "dont worry about it. bye" I say
"stay away from him you freak" jason says As he walks off.
