Sonic Pov

Sonic: S-Shadow?

Sonic: What are you doing here?

Shadow: I was on my way home and I saw you walking in this rain

Sonic: Well thanks*blushing*

Shadow: Your welcome

He said looking at me with a smile,he didn't seem to notice that I was blushing I was glad he didn't.Honestly I'm both happy and nervous to see him.

Shadow: By the way where were you going?

Sonic: Oh im just on my way Home

Shadow: Ok well you don't mind if I walk with you,do you?

Sonic: Um n-no not at all

I said as I walked with him under the umbrella on the way home,as we were walking we didn't say anything to each other for half of the way,but I then tried to see if I could break the silence.

Sonic: Shadow?

Shadow: Yes Sonic?

Sonic: I was wondering

Shadow: ..?

Sonic: How dose it feel to be popular?

Shadow: Uh why do you want to know?

Sonic: I was just wondering that's all

Shadow: Well..it sucks

Sonic: What do you mean?

Shadow: It's kind of annoying when I go to school a specially when I'm hanging with my friends I'm usually interrupted and,some girls even stalk  me...sometimes it's also overweleming..

Sonic: So you don't really like being popular

Shadow: No not really,but i guess sometimes I don't mind

Shadow: To tell the truth,i just want to be seen as a regular person,by the way Sonic

Sonic: Yea?

Shadow: Don't look at me as the popular guy but as a friend ok?

Sonic: Uh S-Sure,we're friends?

I asked akwardly and confused.Since we just meet today.He smiles as he answers me.

Shadow: Any friend of my friends are also mine,i know Tails and Knuckles make good chioces about who they're friends are,and you seem pretty cool.

Sonic: Really? Well I'm not really that cool of a person

Shadow: Don't say that about yourself

Sonic: I'm not though,you can't convince me other wise

Shadow: We'll just have to hang out sometime to prove you wrong heh

Gezz why is this guy like this?his smile and his voice..and the fact that he seems like a good guy,makes me feel a current way

Shadow: This is it right?

I stop walking,as I stand to his side and stare at my house,I didn't even realize we were here already.Its like i was in another world just now.

Sonic: Uh yea

I said as we walked to the front door,and I started unlocking the door with my key,I turned my head,and saw Shadow started walking away.

Sonic: Wait!

Shadow: Yea?

He stops and looks back at me.

Sonic: Thanks for walking me home

Shadow: No prob Sonic see ya tomorrow  

Sonic: Bye Shadow

I said as I went inside,locked the front door and took my shoes off,i didn't see Joey in the kitchen or the living room.Which means he's still at work, I went up stairs with my back pack.And went to check,if he is in his room..before I celebrite him not being home.I opened his bedroom door,and he wasn't in his room,I guess he really isn't gonna be home for the night,and I don't have a problem that.I just had to make sure..he's really not here is all

Later

10:00 pm

After I took a shower,I dried myself with a towel.Then put my clothes on.I went to my room,and laid on my bed..staring at the wall.With the picture of me,my brother and sister, along with my parents,man I miss those days.I thought to myself as I heard my phone ring,I sat up and looked at my phone,i see a notification,that shows i have a message from Tails .

Tails: *text*Hey Sonic

Sonic: *text* Hey Tails what's up?

Tails: *text* I just wanted to know would you like to come to the movies with us on Sunday?

Sonic: *text* Uh sure why not

Tails: *text* Alright see you tommrow

Sonic: *text* Alright Good night bud

Tails: *text* Night
