"love you" he finished his sentence.
I put my hand over my mouth to stop myself from gasping too loudly.
No. He's drunk and asleep. It means nothing.
I sighed and went back to sleep.

"Y/N wake up" Ray said. "wakey wakey rain cloud"
I opened my eyes, seeing him sitting next to me.
"What's up sunshine?" I yawned. "Why so early?" I glanced at the clock.
It was only 5 am.
"I'm hungry, let's get McDonald's"
"Agh fine let's get in the car"
I got up and grabbed his hand. "After we're done eating we have to check on Gerard and Frank"

Ray sat on the driver's seat of his car and I sat on the other side.
He drove us to the nearby McDonald's and we went through the drive through.
After we got our food we drove back to the house.
"Y/N you're back!" Frank said, popping out from behind the couch.
"Hey Frankie, how's Gerard doing?" I asked.
"I'm doing great" he said, showing thumbs up from the couch.
"I'm glad" Ray said.
Frank came over and hugged me like a kid. "Hi Y/N/N"
"Hey best bro" I chuckled. "You want food?"
"Hell yeah"
I handed him a burger. "Eat up"
They were both still visibly drunk but not as bad as yesterday.
I sat down on the couch next to Gerard and started eating my food.
"Hi cutie" he smiled.
"Hi Gerard" I shoved fries in his hand.
"Thanks"
Ray sat down too and glanced at Gerard.
"Hey Gee, you should call Mikey to come get you" he said.
"Oh alright" Gerard said.
He took out his phone and called Mikey.

Not soon after a car pulled into the driveway.
"Bye guys!" Gerard waved, stumbling out of the door.
"What a sweet guy" I sighed.
"He's adorable" Frank slurred.
I chuckled, ruffling Frank's hair. "Frank you have a girlfriend, she lives in another state"
"Oh yeah. I love Jamia, I'm gonna marry her someday"
"I believe that"

I wish I could say that about Ray.
Wait what am I thinking!?
Ray and I? Together?
Oh but he's a ray of sunshine and I'm just a rain cloud.

"Rain cloud" Ray snapped his finger in front of my face. "Rain cloud"
I snapped out of my trance and looked at him.
"Mhm" I hummed. "Sunshine?"
He just looked into my eyes with a dreamy fog in his eyes. "You're beautiful like the day we met"
He caressed my cheek softly.
"Will... Will you go out with me?"
"Wh- What?"
"Y/N, tomorrow night at the field, the firework show, please come with me"
"Of course sunshine"
"I'll pick you up at 8 tomorrow evening" he kissed my cheek. "See you, Rain cloud"
"Bye sunshine"

Ray left the house and I started at the door.
"Frank, I'm going on a date tomorrow... with Ray" I sighed.
I turned to look at Frank, he was staring at me with a wide smile. "HE ASKED YOU OUT!!!!"
