Angels like him

why would this happen?

Diana's Pov:
Varco threatened me numerous times saying that it's either I give him Breyzelle's number or he wouldn't be friends with me anymore

Soon enough I gave in and sent it to him, my heart broke in a million pieces, my world shattered and my eyes teared up, I messaged Breyzelle telling her to update me and let me know about what he was telling her

She informed me a few hours later that he hadn't even messaged me and I'm not gonna lie I was a bit glad about that

I messaged Jerome and he advised me on what to do, he also let me know that if i had ever needed his help with speaking to Varco or anything else for that matter he wouldn't mind being there for me the entire time

I really appreciate him, it's very rare finding a friend like that...especially considering that he has a girlfriend...

the next morning*
As I was getting ready for school I was chatting to Jerome, and we had planned to hang out together after school today

I got in my transport and headed for school, I reached quite early and luckily I found Jerome waiting by the shop, he was smoking with his friends

I had once vibed with his best friend Carlo, he's quite a messed up person ngl, I'm just hoping Jerome isn't the same

We hung out for like an hour outside the school and soon went in, I met Breyzelle on my way in and I said goodbye to Jerome, he hugged me really tight and really long, Varco had seen.

Not gonna lie I felt really bad after that, I mean I know he keeps hurting me but I would never intend on doing the same with him

Jerome's Pov:
I had seen the expression on Diana's face after Varco had seen us hug, I honestly hate how this guy makes her feel, she tries her best not to just him but she just can't see how hurt she is getting in the process

The day is finally over and I cannot wait to see Diana again, this girl and I have some connection, I don't know if she feels it too but I really hope she does
I know I  have a girlfriend but Diana is just so gorgeous  words can't even explain what a beauty she is

She walked up to me with a frown on her face after school, she hugged me really tight with tears in her eyes, soon she informed me that Varco had messaged her friend Breyzelle and they had been chatting the entire night

Tears begun falling off her face and she looked at me with hurt in her eyes, it's like someone had pierced her heart

Varco.
I hate him, I always have, from primary school he's been a fucktart, who has so much to say but can't prove  anything

He thinks he's all that to go hurt girls like this.

I hugged Diana tighter and I know she felt better, she wiped off her tears  and looked at me with a pale face and gave me a baby smile, she held my hand like she owned me and then gave my thumb a baby kiss

My entire heart lit up.

Diana's Pov:
The expression on Jerome's face after I kissed his thumb was unexplainable, it was beautiful.

I had never done this to a boy but honestly  with him it's different, he makes me feel safe and doesn't mind carrying my problems

I hate that he has a girlfriend and that I blocked him when he was single
But anyways>>>> better late then never.

I got home and got undressed

I had messaged Breyzelle asking her if they still chatting and she replied saying yes they are

In that moment I wasn't thinking straight so I requested her to block him and i would block her ex Akash in exchange

She agreed.

It's been a few days and the holidays are approaching

Varco and I have been chatting a bit, he had asked me if i was the one who had  told Breyzelle to block him and i denied it

I was embarrassed, embarrassed that I was this obsessed with him and his feelings weren't even mutual.
