the rest of the summer i turned pretty cast as themselves.
JULIANNA CARTER, better known as "julie", was the cousins beach established tree hugger. her mothers, cameron and iris, raised her around nature, and so began the start of julie's love for it. it started with helping her neighbor, susannah fisher, garden when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. in recent times, you could probably spot julianna at a womens rights protest, or cleaning up the beach right by her house. it was no surprise that when a thousand-year-old tree was to be cut down to make room for yet another starbucks, that julianna would be the one to defend it. she didn't expect half the town to go along with her, and climb the tall tree, and most definitely didn't expect her neighbor, conrad fisher, to join her.
