Tao: dont say i didnt warn you if this is about Nick
y/n: it isnt about Nick, well some of it.
Elle: your kinda scaring me y/n
Elle: are you pregnant?
y/n: WHAT NO NO NO!!
Tao: thank god
Elle: my chance of being a cool aunt is gone
y/n: im not pregnant, he didnt do anything wrong
Charlie: okay then whats the news??
y/n: well
y/n: i had a talk with my mom and Nick
y/n: and im going to get proffessional help for it
Charlie: y/n whats going on
Elle: ^^
Tao: are you okay?
y/n: i just felt the need i had to tell you guys since i talked about it with Nick and my mom already.
y/n: i think i might have an eating disorder.
Elle: oh honey
Charlie: y/n im so sorry
Tao: you told Nick before your best friends?
y/n: Tao that isnt the point. but yes i did and im sorry i would have told you guys sooner i just didnt know how to bring it up
Charlie: y/n its okay
Elle: We're here for you
Tao: that was harsh im sorry, but im glad you talked to us about it
y/n: my mom is setting up a therapist for me so i'll get better.
Charlie: take your time.
Isaac: sorry i havent responded
Isaac: we love you y/n
y/n: i dont deserve you guys
I sat down at the picnic table where Isaac, Charlie and Tao sat.
They gave me awkward looks
"god guys im not a zombie!" i said giggling
"sorry um do you still want my orange?" Tao asked
"is that even a question? Hand it over!" i replied giggling
he smiled and handed me his orange
"So how did your mom take the news?" Charlie said
"it went well, I had Nick by my side, which helped" i said "she understands"
Tao looked sad
"i feel bad like we were the ones that should've been there" Tao said
"dont feel bad okay, its just, i've been eating lunch with Nick a lot and he started to notice me not eating lunch like everyday and he sort of brought it up"
"and i've realized how much time i've spent with him too, that i just kind of ditched you guys, which im sorry about. For now on im not going to hide anymore and stop pushing people away"
Isaac put his book down and wrapped an arm around me, making tao and charlie stand up and join creating a group hug.
we were all walking in the hallway talking about anything and everything. when i looked to see Nick walking our way
he stopped in front of me making me and everyone else stop
"hey" Nick said with a smile
"hi" i replied with an even bigger smile
"i'll catch up with you later" Charlie said winking at me
Charlie grabbed Tao before he could object, with isaac following.
"how was lunch?" Nick asked
"good, i had an orange and half a sandwich, im just kind of working my way up. Trying to get use to it i guess"
"im glad" he said with a smile
"so about last night" He began to say
"god i forgot about that, i just had a weird impulse and i couldnt help myself!" i said giggling
"i just wanted to say how much i enjoyed that actually."
"good" i replied
"just seeing you running towards me under the street lights with the biggest smile on your face was, adorable" he said laughing making me blush, i looked down with a grin trying to hide my shyness
"you getting shy is especially adorable" he said lifting my head up with his finger under my chin
"shut up Nelson" i replied playfully hitting him
Nicholas Nelson-- the definition of golden retreiver, he had such an impact on my heart just bringing him up made my heart flutter with joy. I love the feeling of butterflies he gives me and how shy he makes me. I've never had this feeling and i never want to stop feeling this way.
I sat through the rest of my classes just daydreaming of him.
God it was gonna be so hard to keep good grades if i had him in my head 24/7
"mom im home!" i shouted
"hello darling" she said coming up to me giving me a hug
"how was your day?" she asked pulling away
"it was good actually, it feels good to get this off my chest, it gives me hope." i replied
"im glad you told me, i love you so much you have no idea and all i want for you is to live the best life you can" my mom said stroking my hair
I gave her a warm smile before heading to my room to do some homework
everytime Nick popped up into my head i smiled to myself.
Nicks pov:
I couldnt get her out of my head, i was just trying to do my homework and all i could think about was her.
god i felt crazy for her, she's the only girl i've ever felt this way for and i love it.
i've only known her for a short amount of time and im already feeling obsessed.
i could hear her talk all day, her voice made me felt safe and happy. and her smile, god, that smile. She's so beautiful i cant even put it into words.
"whats gotten you all smiley" my mom said
I looked up and i just smiled even bigger, we were at the dinner table.
"its nothing" i replied
"i beg to differ" my mom said
i rolled my eyes playfully
"its y/n"
"she's not just a friend is she?"
"way more than a friend" i replied
"i see she makes you very happy"
"she does"
