"is nick coming over for dinner again?" my mom said cooking, i was sat at the counter doing some homework
"im not sure, i could ask him" i replied
"has he popped the question yet?" My mom asked

y/n: my mom was wondering if your coming over for dinner
Nick: wow not even you were wondering?
y/n: of course i am, she just asked the question!
Nick: how about you come over to my house for dinner?
Nick: but if you'd rather be somewhere that you feel safe, thats okay.
y/n: no i'll come over, it would be good for me to step out of my comfort zone

I looked down at my phone smiling, i wish i could tell him i love him, because it feels like im falling for him, but he'd think its too soon. I think this is what love feels like.
i coudnt think on what to wear, something fancy looking? chill? cute? casual? not a clue in my mind.
this is my first time meeting his mom, and we've been together for a month. Of course im gonna be nervous on a first impression!

I decided on a pair of high wasted baggy jeans, and a (whatever color you want) sweater.
"alright im heading to nicks for dinner!" i shouted putting my shoes on
"alright, dont stay out too late, be home before 12!!" my mom shouted back
i wish this walk could've been longer but he lives like 2 blocks away, thats not enough time to prepare myself! Especially eating in front of other people i just met, and how im going to act. Nick said i should just be myself, so maybe thats just what i should do.
