ALBERTA, CANADA.

"You guess that right. You're such a sharp man but incompetent." Zayd made a pitiful face at him, playing gently with his legs that are still on the table.

Zayd knew he can be ruthless whenever he wants to and he decided that he won't go easy on this man because he clearly isn't planning on going easy with Layla. Annalise told him to do everything possible to get information from him and why he is after her since she was a little girl. There must be something crucial behind this that they need to find out. If he wants to play it softly, they should go like that but if he is being headstrong then she will have to use her skills to lure him.

That won't be needed because the man is already scared and looks like an easy prey. Things are going to go smoothly mainly because he's got no power now. They've done real background check on him and found some things that didn't sit well with them related to the Babagana family. Now he is here to first release Layla from his hunt and then get all those information from him. He won't leave empty handed.

"I've already booked your flight to Alberta. I would've joined but dad will probably think I'm already running away so I'll stay here. Do tell me anything that you feel is important or if possible, call me while you are there so I can hear everything." Annalise had walked into his room early morning the day before, looking down at his passport -which he didn't know she's carried.

"I don't want to go to Alberta. And do what exactly?" His voice muffled inside his pillow, eyes still firmly closed in a determined move to get some sleep.

Annalise place the passport loudly on the bedside table. How is she energetic without sleep is beyond him. She's already showered and dressed into Pull On Pintruck Flare Pant leather pants, pumps and large blazer that is twice her size but she looks cute in it. Her hair is tied high up in the middle of her head in a professional ponytail that makes her look too serious and tedious at the same time.

"You should go and find out why he is after her. The man is already shady and if he gets his hands on her, it's game over. Let's kaput him at his own game first. And there are a few things related to this family that he knows, I'm sure." She explained tucking her hands inside her leather pant's pocket.

"What do you think he knows about this family? He lives in Canada and-" He kept shut when he remembered the man's face, of course he knows a lot about their family.

"Exactly. Now stand up and get ready because your flight leaves in two hours. You should make up some excuse for your mom. It won't take long." She ordered in an icy tone, too authoritative for his liking.

He groaned from his bed, he was trying to catch some sleep after they've spent hours finding out who really is Mr. Jibril and why he is after Layla. He didn't ask where Annalise found out about him, she is just that good with her work. She told him she made a few calls here and there in Canada and got that from one of Layla's neighbors in Alberta. They dug deeper into his records to find red dots everywhere meaning the man is dangerous.

He's been accused of murder more than twice but no serious action has been taken so far. The man was once powerful before he went bankrupt after investing with the wrong people that leave him to ruins. He is now in desperate need of money to rise from his fallen business of soap. The soap isn't selling now too, expiring in every store that they've stopped buying. He clearly is one of a kind for things to be happening to him just at once. It makes no sense.

"Why do you think his business is failing like this though? I mean, he was once extremely rich that he's never thought about leaving his next generation impoverished. What happened so suddenly? I don't think it's only the investment." Zayd had asked Annalise that night, reading thoroughly on the records in front of him.
