(I'll be using the pronouns: she and her for this story for a reason...)

Jake walks into the bus as he pulled out his airpods.

"1 Student, please.." he said to the driver

He finally sat down next to the window and listened to some tunes.

He breathes in the cold city air just as the city lights were turning off in the early morning.

The bus stops and more people get inside. He notices a girl wearing a familiar uniform. Their eyes met and the girl immediately looked away.

The two students finally arrive at their destination. They both walk towards the door, figuring out who should go first.

"You go first" they said in unison

They both look at eachother and laugh..

"you go.." he insisted

"Thanks.." the girl finally walks out of the bus while Jake followed her behind

Jake realizes that they're schoolmates as they both go on their seperate ways.

He finally meets up with his gang, still looking at the girl from earlier.

"What's on your mind, Jake?" Heeseung asked as he slung his arm around his shoulder

"Who's that?" He asked and pointed the girl

"New girl, pretty much single." Sunghoon walks towards them with a bag on his hand

"When I ask who, I meant her name not her status." Jake said

"That's Y/n. We're in the same year and she's also a member of the choir.." Sunoo said passing the ball to Jungwon

"A singer ayee? Jake isn't that your type of girl?" Jay asked

"Stop messing around," he said

"Woah, someone's getting serious.."

"Well,.we don't know much about her..all we know she's a year 10 and goes to Yungmi Academy"

"Why separate two genders in two schools when in the end we gather up for flag ceremonies and events." Sunghoon complained

"So that no one would be devouring eachother up during class." Ni-ki said

"That's one reason.." Jay laughs

"Why bother separating when we don't even have dates ourselves.." Sunghoon said

"Well, I think Jake hyung has eyes for someone~" Jungwon said

"What?? No! I was just asking cause we rode the same bus.." He said

"Jake's inlove~" Sunghoon and Jay sang as they waltzed around him

"Stooooppp!" Jake laughed as he threw his shoe at them

Sunghoon picked it up and held it like there's no tomorrow.

"I'm keeping this! You're not getting it back 'till the end of class!!" Sunghoon yelled and ran while Jake chased him

A few weeks later, Jake kept meeting up with the girl on the bus but never got the chance to speak nor interact with her.

Everytime she's there, she always avoids and gives him a weird or somewhat disgusted look.

At that point, Jake stopped giving a care..or so he thought..

After school, he rushes to the school gate so that he wouldn't miss the bus.

Thankfully, he arrived just in time as the bus was about to move.

He heads inside the bus and has met eyes with the girl.

The girl still ignores him as usual and looks out the window.

The bus was jam packed with students and the only free spot was next to her..

He walks towards her and leans in.

"Hi!" He said

The girl looks at him with a blank expression.

"Hi." She replied

"Is this seat taken?" He asked

"It's the only seat available," she said

Jake finally sits down next to her, glancing at her every minute.

"What? Are you obsessed me?" She tilts her head to him

"N-no!!" Jake's cheeks turned light pink

"Hahaha! You can't even lie.." she laughs

"I noticed everytime you look at me from the past weeks.." she said

Suddenly the girl takes out his palm and writes numbers on it..

"You could've just asked." She said and stands up

"This is my stop.." she smiled and it took Jake to come back to his senses

"Oh sorry!" He said and stood up to let her out

The girl was about to leave but she took a step back and called him,

"Hey! The name's Y/n!" She said and left
