You were in gym class playing Dodgeball.

The coach was preparing to pick students in their designated teams.

"Team 1's leader will be Jake..Team 2's leader will be Jay!" She smiled

You wished and prayed that you'll be on Jake's team because he's your bestfriend and hoping you wouldn't land on your rival's team.

"You will be divided by your student number. Odds go to Jake and evens go to Jay!"

You rolled your eyes knowing your number was 14. You stood up walking towards Jay as he makes a disgusted face at you.

"Enough with the face..let's get this over with.." you sighed

Jake looks at you with concern as he huddled up with his team.

The balls were placed in a line.

Both teams preparing for battle..as soon as the coach whistles her whistle, everyone ran to the center to pick up their ball.

You tried your best to stay at the back to avoid getting hit. Each team loses a member from getting hit by the ball.

One member after another now it was just Jake, you, Jay, and Anya who had this huge crush on Jake.

The odds cheered for their captain as well as the evens.

"Match point!!" The coach yells

"Stay behind me.." Jay said

"Well, that way you'd be an easier target." You chuckled

"Do you want to be in the front then?"

"I would! Just to end this game, I'd do anything." You smiled

Jake throws the ball at Jay but he quickly grabs it.

"Too slow.." jay smirked

Jake clenched his teeth as he was trying to remove his self from Anya's arms.

"Jake, cover me!" Anya whined

"Just don't put your arms on my shoulders or we'd lose!" Jake said

Jay threw the ball but he missed them.

Jake was already furious not only at Jay but also Anya.

He threw the aggressively towards the both of you and when Jay tried to duck..the ball hit you instead.

"Oh damnn.."

You fell to the ground and was too embarrassed to get up..

"Y/n!! Are you okay?"

Everyone thought you were unconscious because you never got up..

"Let me take them to the clinic!" Jay and Jake said in sync

Everyone started to coo as they all felt the tension around the room.

"I'm the one responsible. It's my fault for ducking." Jay insisted and the coach nodded

Jay carried you in a piggy back and headed towards the clinic.

You lay down on the bed as he waits at the side.

"S/he'll be alright." The nurse said

"Thank you, Ms. Rin"

"I'll be in my office if you need me, just knock on the door, give them a glass of water and some medicine if they wake up." She said and left

A few moments later, Jay just sits there and looks at you..a few glances and a few smiles..

You suddenly open your eyes and realized you weren't at the gym anymore.
