I rubbed my tired eyes and went to cheak on Kate. Kate was still asleep so I didn't wake her. I looked at her for a secont before I left. There's something different about her than other girls.

A few minutes passed and I went to wake up Kate. I didn't want to but breakfast was ready.
"Kate?" I gently shook her awake. She whined a little before sitting up. "goodmorning" I smiled.

At the table we ate out pancakes and after got ready for the day.

"Nat, why don't you take them to that place in the woods" My father suggested.
"what place?" Kate showed interest
"follow me" Nat gladly smiled and opened the door as me and Kate followed.

A few minutes later we were looking for  something in the forest. Nat told me and Kate to wait near the old shack whilst she went deeper to look.
I sat down on a tree stump and Kate followed sitting down next to me.

5 minutes past and Natasha texted me saying she's on her way back. Me and Kate stood up to stretch our legs and started talking about what the thing is that we're looking for.

There was a moment where we just stared into each others eyes. I couldn't help but admire her beautiful Hazel eyes.
I moved a strand of hair out of her face as she smiled.

"what you guys up to?"

I jumped back to see that it was Natsha. She smerked before walking closer to us. I saw Kate was looking embarrassed and looking away.

There was silence as Natasha kept the smerk on her face.

"so did you get the thing?" I broke the silence.
"yep" Natasha held up a box "all we need to do now is find the key in there" Natasha pointed towards the shack.

We found the key and left. We had to open the box on a certain day and time so we left the box somewhere safe till the day came. Me and Kate didn't talk much to each other since what happened in the forest but we're trying even though it's a bit awkward.

Soon the day came to an end and everyone said their goodnights before settling down.
