Getting Sick (with A Twist)

Yelena's pov:

woke up feal tired and weak. I realised everyone else was already awake. I cheak the time and it was 9:30am. I fell back onto my bed not wanting to get up. When I got the strength I slowly made my way out my room. I went to see if Kate was in her room but she wasn't.

"hey Nat have you seen...." I cut my sentence short after finding Kate with Natasha. "oh nevermind she's with you" I laughed nervously.

I started burning up and my palms were getting sweaty. I felt dizzy and sick and felt like I was gonna pass out.
"you ok?" Kate asked putting her hand on my shoulder.
"ye I'm fine" I smiled weakly.

"YELENA" Natasha screamed. It was the last thing I heard before passing out completely.

About 3-5 minutes later I regained consciousness. Only Kate was in the room. "where's Natasha?" I asked looking round. "she's just outside I'll go grab her" Kate said as she stood up.
I grabbed her wrist stopping her from going anywhere. "no it's alright..... Stay" I smiled as she sat back down.

"so... How you feeling?" Kate asked awkwardly. "I'm ok I guess, feeling a little sick that's all" of course that was a lie. I felt so sick I couldn't even move much.
Kate placed the back of her hand over my forehead "your still burning up, stay here" and with that she left.

Whilst Kate was gone Natasha came to cheak up on me. "hey lena, so the doctor said there's nothing serious and nothing we should worry about" Nat gave a reinsuring smile.

Kate soon returned with a cold damp clothe. She placed it over my forehead to try cool me down. Natasha had to leave for something important so she left Kate in charge of me.

It was silent most of the time till I spoke up. "you do know we can either carry on with our lives in awkwardness around each other or confess everything to each other and not be awkward"

"what do you mean awkward?" Kate chuckled awkwardly.

"come on Kate, don't pretend you don't know" I looked at her and got up falling a few times.

"fine I love you is that what you wanted to hear?" Kate got up and confessed. I looked at her as she looked back and as I did last time I moved a strand of hair out of her face but this time was different. We were alone. No way possible to be interrupted.
And with all the strength I had left I leant forward and kissed her. Somehow it made me feel better.

After we kissed Kate turned red. I didn't know what to do as it was my first kiss. It was hers to. "will you be my girlfriend?" was all I could say and without saying anything Kate just nodded as a big smile appeared on her face.

"uhm your still sick so stay hear and I'll make you some soup and then get some rest after if you wanna get better" I just nodded and sat down on the bed. She left to make the soup and I waited.
