The part of my day i look forward to is when i get to see my favorite horse Spirit.
I got up early and waited outside.
As soon as the sun rose, spirit nieghed and i looked to see him at the top of the mountain.
I said waving my hand as i jogged over to him and he started runing to me.
"Hey spirit".
He nieghed happily and we met each other half way.
He circled me and then nudged his forehead against my shoulder and i smiled as i held him to me.
Pet his nose and I said.
"I missed you Spirit, how was your trip"?
He nieghed and other noises.
It's almost like he's talking to me.
I then said seeing he was smiling.
"Im glad you had fun.
I wish I was there".
Life here became boring even with my dad, but my sister was soon to come live with us, lucky.
Spirit saw my face and he nudge my chin and i said petting him.
"I know, guess what, my sisters coming to live here for the summer.
And to be honest, i don't know what to do".
He then neighed and grabbed my shirt.
I then got on his bacl and he ran to where his herd was i then said as they got up and began to run.
"Your taking me with you"?
He nodded and i smiled.
We stopped for a break and they all changed.
Did i forget to mention that spirit and his herd can shapeshift?
Spirit then said siting by me.
"Of course, I said i would".
I smiled and blushed when he looked me in the eye.
He then said.
"And.
(He held my hand and said)
Cause when ever im away from you, all i think about is you.
I finally know why.
Cause i love you.
Have since the moment you let me out of the Corral".
I then said blushing.
"I love you tp spirit".
He smiled and kissed me.
I kissed him back.
Once we pulled away, he said as we stood up.
"There's so much out there for you to see and I'd want to show you all of it.
(I looked to where we came from and he said hugging me from behind.)
We'll come back to visit i promise.
Your 18 now, you always dreamed of traveling".
I nodded and said as i look at him.
"I know".
He then said smiling.
"Now, there's a spot perfect this time of year, youll love it".
He shifted and neeled so i can get on his back .
I put my foot on his left leg lifted up .
He stood up and i got on his back and he ran, herd following him.
I'm one lucky girl, who knew i fell in love with spirit.
