Disillusioned and empty
They said it was here to stay
His empty promises tempt me
This world is delusion and play
The thirst is never quenched
The fists are always clenched
Piety is benched
Taqwa relents
Day by day we lose our way
Immorality rejoices as we go stray
Injustice prevails, clear as day
And the truthful is labelled a liar, no matter what he says
Have we forgotten the teachings of the one whom was sent to all of mankind
The sunnah of the one who was send to remind
For the years pass like months and the months pass like weeks
The days like hours, there is little time left to seek
Soon reality will meet you, closely, cheek to cheek
So repent today, before your heart beats it's last beat
