It was a lovely night, the sky was clear, the star shined brightly, and all things were asleep... Except for in one place. A fortress, in the center, stood a tall blue-colored circular tower with horizontal lines. A yellow, rounded roof stands on top of it with multi-colored lights directly below it and an antenna standing on it. The interior of the base mainly consists of circular corridors, wrapping around the base's main structure in a spiral. Surrounding it were dozens of robots.

However, the robots were all shooting at something approaching, the person approaching the base was none other than the fastest thing alive, Sonic the Hedgehog!
Sonic is a slim anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body, and peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle, insides of his ears, and front torso. He has small, triangular ears on top of his head, six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. Sonic wears red boots with a white strap, cuff, and gold buckle each; and a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on the hands.

Several base defense turrets and robots shot at Sonic. The hedgehog dodges the incoming fire but closes in deeper into the base. Sonic leaped on a turret's gun and leaped off with great force, causing the turret to spin out of control and shoot the other turret. Then a bunch of robots known as Egg Pawns came marching out.
