Manik's pov
She left my arm and ran to the waves making me smile, she was wearing this beautiful white bikini and might I add that she looks so fucking hot, yet beautiful. Her innocence is my favourite, the while makes her tan pop. I sat down on the sad taking a whole lot of pictures of Nandini
I made it my wallpaper, she is seriously so cute, I fucking love her. Last night when she said she loves me my heart literally exploded even though I know she said it in a friendly way but those words felt real.
"Manik" I heard her yell making me look at her, I ran to her seeing her on the ground.
"Ahh Manik it hurts" she whispered holding her ankle
"Shh its okay" I picked her up carrying her back to the penthouse
I placed her on the bed, a few tears fell from her eyes freaking me out, I tried touching her ankle but she kept pushing my hand away
"Nandini stop it" I said in a firm tone and she stopped
I examined her ankle, it was already swollen so I knew she either fractured it or twisted it, probably twisted it because I could touch it and she didnt pull back her leg
I left the room to grab an ice pack for her, when I came back she was limping to the thabtroom pissing me off
"Nandini" I yelled and she froze in her stop like a caught deer
"What is wrong with you huh, your ankle is swollen and you are limping around like an injured cat" I said trying not to raise my voice at her
"I want to change" she said
"Then you can ask me to help you right" she nodded looking down
I picked her up and sat her down on the couch in the walk in closet, she grabbed her clothes and I turned around leaning on the door ledge
"Change and dont move, tell me once you are done" I said and I could hear her changing,
"Im done" she said and I turned around, she looked so cute in her pink pajamas
I picked her up and placed her on the counter beside the sink, she washed her face and gave me cute face, but I wasn't budging at the moment. I picked her up again and was about to put her on the bed but she wiggled in my arms
"Can we sit outside in the hammock" she asked and I nodded, placing her in the hammock I changed into sweats and grabbed her another ice pack because the first one was of no use.
I sat down beside her and grabbed her leg which took me a couple tries becasue this girl is something else, she giggled pulling away her leg every time I tried grabbing her leg.
"Manik" I hmmed putting the ice pack on her ankle, her hands clutched my arm feeling the cold
"Why are you so clumsy"
"It wasn't my fault I wanted to catch the wave" she mummbled like a child
"I understand but you need to be careful nandini, look at your ankle its so swollen" I said and she moved her leg from my lap. She leaned against my chest and put the ice pack on her ankle again
"It won't happen again, but dont get mad at me"
"Im not mad baby, I just dont want you getting hurt" I said kissing her head
"I know, but see the bright side na, you will have to carry me everywhere which mean your muscles will grow"
"I can carry you regardless baby" I said chuckling at her analogy
"Can I tell you something that crossed my mind this morning" she asked and I nodded tracing her stomach since my hand rested on her stomach
"I felt insecure not becasue you made me feel that way but becasue my brain thinks rubbish. I know you can get a billion girls out there who are prettier than me but I know that no one can love you like I can" she said and I felt good that she told me about it but I knew I had to work hard to make her feel secure
"You dont need to feel insecure nandini, you are beyond gorgeous and yes you are right there are beautiful girls out there but they are not my nandini. I only love you, and I only have eyes for you. I like that you told me and if this crosses your mind any time I need you to communicate with me is that understood" I said and she nodded
"You make me happy, and this ankle na dont worry ill be okay" she looked up in my eyes and I could tell she was happy, her eyes had a shine to them
"Yes you will be okay, but no running around okay, I will carry you everywhere, I dont want to argue on this" she nodded pecking my lips making me smile
"Kitten you have this spark in you that I enjoy a lot" I said and she giggled
We sat there watching the sun setting into the water, nandini had this smile adoring her face the whole time making me happy. I wonder what I did to deserve her, she makes me so so happy.
"Manik"

"I don't know what to do"
"About what doll"
"Mrs murthy, I dont want to see her, I want to forget about her and alia and I just dont know what to do. I loved them manik, for 2 years I thought they loved me too but the pain and scars they have given me overpower that love I felt for them" she had tears in her eyes
"Baby I will deal with them okay, you dont have to do anything" I said stroking her hair
"You will help me" she asked
"I will not help becasue that means you will be involved in this but you aren't going anywhere close to either of them and ill make sure of that"
"Can I fight her" she asked making em chuckle
"Only if you can throw punches" I joked and she sat up pulling her leg in quick making her scream in pain
"Ahhhh shitttt" she yelled holding her ankle
"Nandini careful" I said caressing her ankle
"Im okay, it just, I moved too quick" she said
"We are going to the doctor mrs malhotra, then we can drive home after" I mentioned and she shook her head
"I don't like doctors"
"Well should have thought about that prior to getting injured and now you will not even come to the office tom, a week home, ill authorize your leave" I said and she pouted at me
"No, you have a meeting tom and I need to finish my design and present them to the client at the same meeting If you are forgetting" she said as I picked her up carrying her to the bed
"I am not forgetting anything, you know what maybe we could just stay here for a whole week" I suggested
"Absolutely not, we are heading out in an hour or so like we planned, and I am coming to the office tom" she said
"Nandini dont argue on this, your ankle is swollen like a baseball, I'm sure the doctor will ask you to stay on bed rest anyways" I said grabbing our packed suitcase from the closet
"I know but Manik its a minor thing, okay we willl go to the doctor and see what he says" she said and I nodded
"Dont even try moving im gonna put this in the car then ill come get you okay" I said and she nodded pouting at me
I grabbed our stuff and put everything in the car, packed the leftover things, and then I grabbed Nandini carrying her to the car, I moved her seat all the way back so she has space to stretch her legs.
"Im okay manik, its a minor sprain" she said entwining her fingers with mine
"I know but you can't do this, It freaks me out Nandini, you need to be careful, and pay attention to your surrounding"
"I promise ill try my best" she said and I nodded
