How To Make Amazing OCs

Hello! We are now onto appearance which is on of my personal favorites!

 But, one thing you do remember is that you shouldn't make them look perfect. Especially if they have a good personality because this leads to your oc becoming a Mary Sue or Marty Stu. Even with appearance you want them to have flaws.

I think being as descriptive as possible will help here. It will also help you picture what they look like.  

So to help I will make a list of things you should know about your oc... 

 -What does their hair style look like? And is it long? Short? Medium? Do they even have hair? 

 -Is their hair curly? Wavy? Straight? If they had hair what would it be? 

 -What color/s is their hair? Is it dyed that way? What is their natural hair color? 

 -How do they style their hair? Braids? Ponytail? Nothing? 

 -What color eyes do they have? 

 -What shape are their eyes? Almond? Round? 

 -What about their eyebrows? Are they bushy? Thin? Barely there? Unibrow? 

 -What shape are their eyebrows? Straight? Arched? 

 -What is their face shape? 

 -Do they have full or thin lips? 

 -Any piercing? 

 -Do they wear makeup? If so- what? 

 -How tall are they? -How heavy are they? 

 -How thin are they? Average? Heavy? 

-What do they like to wear? ((I think polyvore is great for putting together outfits for oc's)) 

 -Do they do their nails? 

 -Do they have a gum or toothy smile? 

 -Do they wear any jewelry? If so, is it special to them? 

 -What is their favorite thing about their appearance? 

 -Do they overall like how they look? If not then why? 

 -What do they smell like? 

 -How do they walk? Strut? Confidently? Slowly? 

 -What does their nose look like? Big? Small? 

 -What do they wear on a day out? 

 -What do they wear on a casual day? 

 -What do they wear to somewhere formal? 

 -Do they have big hands/feet? 

 -What color is their skin? 

 -Do they tan or just burn? 

 -What are peoples first impressions of them after just seeing them? 

 -Do they wear a lot of a certain brand?

-How long does it take for you oc to get around to go somewhere?
