Marshall POV
I spent all morning in the studio finishing up a track that will be on the new album going at all the motherfuckers that had been coming at me for the past few months. I had been a bit of a workaholic lately. It was towards the end of the morning when Val stopped by to surprise me at the studio.
"Hey babe." I leaned in the kiss her, "What are you doing here?"
She looked so good in a brown sundress that went to her knees and sandals. Sexy, yet classy. Her hair was down over her shoulders and curly. Just the way I like it.
"I'm in the neighborhood today. I thought I'd quick stop by to surprise you."
"Where are you going?" We walked down the hallway together.
"Lunch with Kim."
"Oh, awesome." I answered sarcastically. "Don't believe a word that bitch tells you."
"Marshall, stop." Val reached her arms around my neck to calm me, and I leaned in to kiss her again.
"Wanna hear something?"
She nodded and I took her hand to lead her into the studio.
"Sup Val?" Royce looked up from playing on his phone.
"Hey, how ya doin Royce?" Val sat her handbag on the soundboard and sat down, crossing her legs.
"Ok, listen to this." I played Fall for Valentina and watched her bop her head to the beat at first. Then her eyes got big, and she put her hand over her mouth in a nervous grin as it played on, and she heard everybody I went off on.
"Well, damn!" Was her reaction at the end of the track. "Are you really going to put that out?"
"Hell yeah, I'm gonna put it out. Fuck them motherfuckers."
She smiled, then licked her lips and shook her head for a moment before her eyes met mine again, "You're so crazy."
"Marshall don't give a fuck." Royce announced then got back on his phone as he exited the room.
I realized that Val and I still hadn't broken eye contact.
"Babe, I got that thing in my office, ya know?" I took a breath, "That thing."
"Yeah I know." She said quietly and took my hand.
We practically ran down the hallway, and once we were in my office with the door was locked, I swooped her up in my arms.
"When I saw what you were wearing today," I said through heavy breathing and frantic kisses, "I knew I was gonna fuck you in it."
"Marshall, we have to be quiet." Val whispered, "I don't want anyone to hear us."
I backed her up to my desk, "I don't give a fuck baby. This is MY office. And you're MY wife. We can be as loud as we want."
Our passion was back when I said that, and I turned Val around to lean her over the desk and pull her dress up around her waist. I rubbed her ass cheek and smacked it, then did the same on the other side.
"Remember the time we made love right here? That night during the storm?" I whispered in her ear as I eased her thong down over her hips and let them fall to the floor.
"Of course, I remember baby. It always turns me on when I see you in the studio." Val reached her arms out and cleared the papers and bullshit from my desk.
"Yeah?" I ran my fingers over her opening, and she was good and wet.
I held onto Val's titties and tweaked her nipples as I fucked her from behind on my desk. I love surprise quickies at work.
I felt Valentina's pussy tense up over my dick and then release as she leaned all her weight on the desk.
"I'm cumming baby!" I grabbed forcefully onto her big sexy hips and pounded against her ass over and over.
Val POV
"Sorry, sorry." I hurried into the restaurant and saw Kim sitting by herself at the window, "I guess I lost track of time."
I pulled out a chair to take a seat and a server came over almost immediately asking if she could start me off with a beverage.
"Just water please."
I perused the menu and decided on something simple.
"I'll have a cup of butternut squash soup please."
"You're not hungry?" Kim sipped her soda.
I looked up and took a deep breath, "No, I haven't had an appetite lately. I'm too anxious or stressed or something."
"About what?" Kim seemed shocked. "I thought everything is going so well for you now."
"It is. Things at home are great. It's more like...old memories that I haven't thought about in ages."
"Oh no, not that again. You should start going back to counseling again."
"I know. I already made an appointment for next week." I placed my napkin on my lap.
"Why do you think you're having a such hard time all of a sudden?"
I inhaled slowly, exhaled, and took a sip of water, "Have the girls told you that Marshall and I are trying to get pregnant?"
Kim nodded gently, "Yeah, I heard about it."
"Which I'm still not, by the way." The server brought my soup and Kim's panini and I sat there staring in the bowl as I stirred. "I was abused a lot when I was pregnant. Both times. And I think...this may be triggering. I've already had some really weird dreams recently." I squinted my eyes and shook my head at the recollection.
Kim nodded, "Nightmares? Yeah, I have them too."
"Right. So, what do I do? I mean, I thought I worked through all of this, now suddenly, I think about it everyday again. What am I supposed to do? Live with this lingering fear forever?"
"Have you told Marshall about it?"
I kept my head down, "No. He's really busy with his work, I don't want to bother him with any more of my problems."
"People like us struggle with this kind of shit Val. Lean into your partner. Marshall loves you. He's fucking crazy about you. I know he would want you to talk to him about this." She swigged her soda, "And reach out to your friends too, like you are with me right now. You're not being over-dramatic, I promise." She smiled.
"I need to be sure to never become co-dependent on someone ever again."
"I get that too, but there's a big difference between being overly attached to someone and reaching out to your people for support Val."
"Yeah." I whispered and tried to start eating.
"You'll figure it out." Kim began tearing into her sandwich.
I forced a few spoonfuls of soup down my throat and my stomach flipflopped, "I gotta get out of here. I'm getting sick."
I rushed to the bathroom to puke.
