Marshall POV

"Thirteen weeks?! Holy fucking shit!"

"Sshh..Marshall" Val giggled that luscious giggle that I love as her eyes teared up in happiness.

"Yes, Valentina you are measuring at three inches." The midwife smiled over at us over her dark-rimmed glasses as I held Val's hand, "When was your last menstrual period?"

"May 18th. I think."

I had Paul find a midwife who would come straight to the house for our privacy. Val wanted to try natural birth this time around and I was down.

Midwife Lela showed up first thing the following week along with Stephanie, a nurse practitioner. Val laid on the bed for her first examination. It took forever and they asked a lot of questions, but the result was that we were right on track to have a happy, healthy pregnancy. And that Val was already into her second trimester!

Lela ran her finger over her phone to look at the calendar, "Valentina with how you are measuring, conception date would have been April eighteenth."

"Coachella!" Val and I said in unison then cracked up laughing together.

I was totally surprised in learning this when I came home from touring. Not just at the fact Val was expecting, but that she had already been pregnant for weeks. She was going to begin showing soon and people would start talking. I knew my fans were going to find out all about me having another kid, and I didn't want to hide Val anymore. I needed to support her through this and let her know that this pregnancy is going to be totally different than when she had her daughters.

Valentina set up another appointment with the midwife for the following month as we walked them downstairs before they left our home.

"You ready sweetheart?" I turned to Val to reach out for her hand to pull her against me, "We're going to be parents again."

"I'm so excited. And nervous, but mostly excited. This time is going to be so different.  You're such a good guy Marshall."

I held Val against me in a hug to smile into her hair. She's absolutely right! This time was going to be a whole lot different for both of us.

I got to the studio before noon. I had returned home from Europe only a few days ago, but I had another album coming out in a month. I was still mad busy every day.

"Sup Marshall?" Royce was there to dap me up and ask if everything went well over in Europe.

"Yeah, everything was dope man." I couldn't hide the excitement I felt. My eyes shined with pride as I took my place in the studio where Porter greeted me as well.

"Was your girl happy to see you?" Porter dapped me up and took a seat.

"Yep. And uh, it finally happened. Val's pregnant!"

My boys congratulated me profusely and I was proud as hell to tell them about it. They were happy for me starting this new life with Valentina. I don't think anyone ever expected me to have more children, but they could clearly see I was a lot different since meeting and getting with Valentina. My fiancé was already thirteen weeks pregnant with my child. I would be a dad again first thing in the new year.

Val POV

"Thirteen weeks?! That's crazy!" Ashley shouted when I told her what the midwife said earlier this morning.

I waded into the shallow end of the pool where our kids were playing.

"I know, I was floored! I've been feeling a bit down, but I swim or workout almost every day. That's probably why I'm not gaining much weight. I'm still in my regular clothes." I turned to Ashley's son to smile and help him with his goggles, "Here you go honey."

Ash watched and smiled up at me, "Do you and Marshall want a boy?"

"Yes. I mean, we'd be fine with either, but..." I glanced over at her two little boys, "I know we would both love to have a son."

"Boys are different. I love them so differently than I love my daughter."

"I can't wait to have a newborn again. It's going to be so different this time."

"Marshall will take excellent care of you and that baby. He's always been a terrific father."

Later that night, Marshall brought Chinese home for dinner. I ate my entire beef and broccoli, all the rice, an eggroll, and four crab rangoons.

"You can tell it's a boy." Marshall put his feet up on the coffee table and switched to SportsCenter after we tucked the girls in, "You've been eating everything in sight."

I smirked over at him, "I've been playing the past few weeks over in my head all day." I got up to sit in Marshall's lap to straddle him.

"I knocked you up just like this." He put his hand on my ass and pressed me against him. "Remember? After Coachella back at the hotel? And it was so fucking good too."

"Of course, I remember. I remember still being on a high after doing makeup backstage at an actual concert, and electric in the air during your performance. And after your performance into the night. It truly was such a memorable experience." I laid my head down on his shoulder and hugged him with my entire body.

"Yeah, but I mean afterwards. We couldn't keep our hands off each other, I went down on you, and you were shaking. See? I'm getting hard just thinking about it." He adjusted his sweats. "It was so intense. Like we knew we were doing something amazing together that night."

I smiled against his cheek and kissed his temple.

"I've been eating a lot!"

"Yeah, I know." He gave me that flirty grin and patted my belly. "That's good though. You gotta feed our little man."

I nodded and draped my arms around his neck, "I think it's a boy this time. I feel different. I'm hungry all the time. I was never this hungry with the girls, I could barely eat."

"Oh yeah? And you were really fucking moody to me right before I left for Europe." He said it sarcastically and made me laugh.

"I know. I'm sorry honey. I'll try to keep my hormones in check. And a couple times I've felt sick to my stomach. That time in May when I got my period, it only lasted for a day or two. I don't know why the test kept saying negative. Maybe it was too early, or I drank too much water or something."

Marshall ran his thumbs over my thighs and then put his hand under my shirt to rub my belly, "It's crazy, you're not even showing yet."

"I'm a little pudgy. It's all starting to make sense. My hands always being asleep," I rubbed them up and down his shoulders. "I've never had that before either. It feels like pins and needles."

"Sounds terrible."

"It sucks!"

Marshall smirked at me, "I'm sorry baby. "He leaned in to kiss my nose. "If there's anything I can do to make this easier for you, you let me know.  I'm gonna pamper the fuck out of you!"
