Chapter 18

Emma's P.O.V.

Today was the Fourth of July. We were all going to the beach to watch the fire works. Well that's what Nash told me. I was getting ready, I was just finishing doing my hair in loose curls. When I was done with both my hair and make up, I started painting my nails a nice bright red.

They dried in 20 minutes, I went to the other side of the bed where my outfit is lay out. I started getting dressed in to it.

Once I was changed I got my phone and went down stairs.

"Do you need help with anything?" I asked Aunt Liz when I entered the kitchen.

"No thank you though."

Before we go to the beach we are having a BBQ outside. And when I mean we I mean Nash and his friends with of course his mom, father, sister, and brothers. Will and Uncle Chad were outside making hamburgers and hotdogs. Once I went outside I see Sky running around.

At 6:54pm Nash's friends where here. Right when it was 7pm we all sat down to eat. Before we started eating we blessed our food. Taylor was sitting across from me, well Nash was at my right, and Jack G to my left. Every time I looked at Taylor and tried to make eye connection with him he just avoid me. Did I do something wrong I wondered.

"Okay lets go!" Nash yelled. I looked at the time on my phone it was 8:30pm.

"You guys be careful and take care of Emma and Hayes." Elizabeth told Nash before we left.

We were taking three cars. In one it was Cameron, Nash, me, Hayes, and Mahogany. In the second car it was Taylor, Dillon, Jack G, Jack J, and Carter. And finally in the third car it was Jacob, Matthew, Shawn, and Aaron.

The beach wasn't that far it was like a 20 min drive. Once we got their Cameron parked in one of the parking spots. I looked out the window to see this party going on, they had this big bonfire in the middle. Why did Cameron park right in front of it?

We all got out of the car. "Let's go party!" Taylor yelled, and he was being serious it was no joke. The rest of the boys yelled as well. The only surprised once were me, Hayes, and Mahogany.

"Wait what?" But no one heard me. They all started walking toward the party. I just stood their.

Nash turned around and notice, he walked up to me and asked "What's wrong? Let's go."

"Nash, really a party? "

"Yeah." he responded with a smile and all happy about the idea.

"Did you forget you brought your FOURTEEN younger brother?" I asked.

"No I didn't. We will all keep a eye on him don't worry. Now let's go." we both started walking to the party.

I looked around, looking for Hayes. But I couldn't see him no where, like why do you have to look like you are 16 or 17.

I then see Taylor "Taylor have you seen Hayes?" I asked him when I got to him.

"No." he simply said.

"Is everything okay? You've been avoiding me all day and haven't said nothing to me. Did I do something wrong?"

"It's nothing just leave me alone!" He screamed at me.

"What the fuck is your problem?"

"I don't have a problem. So stop being a bitch and stop bothering me!" He once again screamed at me and gave me a push.

Fucker, he's not worth worrying about. I just kept looking around until I finally saw Hayes, he was standing by a table just looking around.

The first thing I told him when I got to him was "Hayes, here the thing I'll leave you alone to enjoy the party, but I don't want you to take anything anyone gives you okay."

"Okay. Thank you." he said giving me a hug.

"Just don't tell your mom about it. And again don't drink nothing I don't want you to end up like that dumbass over there." I said looking at Dillon who was already drunk.

"Hahaha yeah okay." he laughed.

I left him there and started walking away from the party.

What the hell is Taylor's problem? Like what the fuck! Just the other day he wasn't like that, and when he left that day of the balcony, he changed he stopped talking to me and I don't know it's like he lost interest in me...

Why do I care though? I'm getting those feelings for him. That's why it breaks my heart so much. I just hope that if we ever get to a relationship, it's not the wrong love.....

*still Emma's P.O.V.*

I was sitting in the sand. Watching some fireworks. The sky was so beautiful. But the fireworks didn't make it look beautiful it was the thousand of stars.

My phone started ring, I look at the caller ID. It was NASHY 👀💙 it had a pictures of him as well. I answered the call on the 3rd ring.

-CONVERSATION-
Nash: Emma where are you?
Emma: I'll go right now? Where you at?
Nash: We are at the parking lot were we parked
Emma: okay I'll be there
-END OF CONVERSATION-
I got up, and dusted off the sand off my butt.

I started running toward the party. Since we parked in front of it.

Once I got there I see everybody there waiting for me.

Jack G comes up to me "Hi babe." oh my gosh his breath. Just nope, he was drunk as well as Carter, Dillon, and Taylor.

"Let's go." I say.

"Since Taylor can't drive, I'll take the drunk people, Nash you drive, and Jacob you are still driving." Cameron solved the driving solution.

So Cameron was driving Taylor's Range Rover taking Carter, Jack G, Dillon, and Taylor. Nash was driving Cameron's car with me, Hayes, and Matt. And Jacob was driving his car taking Mahogany, Shawn, Aaron, and Jack J.

"We are going to stay at Cameron's apartment, mom already nows and she's okay with it." Nash told me and Hayes.

"Okay." I said.

"You didn't drink right?" I asked Hayes.

"No, and I'm being honest."

"Okay. I believe you." I look at the time and it was 3:34am.

I wasn't tired at all.

When we all got to Cameron apartment we made the sleeping arrangements.

"Okay the girls can stay in my bedroom, the drunk people will sleep in Carter's room, while the rest of us in the living room." Cameron solved the solution again.

Mahogany and I went to Cameron's room. We both changed into a pair of his sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"You can have the left side and I'll take the right." Mahogany said.

"Okay fine with me."

We got into the bed in each of our sides.
