Matthew 10:36-39

36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. 37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
With this scripture, we understand that we should love Christ above all. Above our own life and everyone in them. In this Christian walk, we should love Christ above everything. We should even be willing to let go of everything for Christ.
Today, I want us to pray that God will give us the ability to be able to love Christ above anything. That He will help us love Him above our family, spouses, ministries, gifts etc
