i laughed when i saw belly in the pool, with jeremiah right next to her "belly you seriously let them give you a belly flop?"
belly turned around and her jaw dropped "holy shit!" she cussed

yeah woah was right because when she got out of the water she had changed, i noticed how much she has changed too. her hair, face, teeth, body, glasses. where did her glasses go?
"i missed you too, woah your strong" i laughed while hugging my best friend
once i removed her from my arms i took a good look at her "belly you are stunning! you have"
belly cut me off, her eyes jokingly rolling "change? yeah i know" we both laughed "but parker, my god what has gotten into you, your talking about me. i should be talking about you" she exclaimed looking me up and down
i shoved her shoulder and she greeted bailey , i took that as my chance to say hey to the boys
"hi fellas!" i smirk, going up to hug steven "you for tall" i told him
"and you got hot" he shot back at me
"awe thank you" i winked at him, moving towards conrad i felt nervous, but why? maybe because i'm in love with him?

"look at you" conrad spoke "you grew up too" he told me
"in a good way?" i asked him and he nodded fast
"hell yeah, cmon" he opened his arms and i put my arms around his chest "im so happy your here" he said
"i live right there connie" i laughed and he only shrugged
i was pulled away by jeremiah "hey parker!" he pulled me into a hug

"yeah i did, thanks for noticing" he winked at me making me roll my eyes
"hey boys!" my mom stepped onto the backyard
"jade!" they yelled and ran up to her, giving her a big group hug

"where'd everyone go?" i asked conrad when i made it to the kitchen, at the moment he's sitting on a stool, leaning his elbows against the counter "it's like everyone was here now we're the only ones on the house"
he softly laughed at my words "jere and belly went to the beach, mom, laurel and jane went to the book store with piper, and bailey went home"
"oh cool, that means we get to talk" i said happily, jumping onto the counter next to him
"about what?" he asked me
"life" i paused "what's going on? you've been acting different since everyone got here"
he played dumb and said "i have no clue what your talking about"
i nodded "right, is it about your ex girlfriend" i questioned him
"no parker, i'm over her anyways" he told me "and there's absolutely nothing wrong"
i sighed, jumping off of the counter "good talk" i joked "come get me when we have dinner, kay?" i looked behind me, seeing him nod

"when are you leaving for training camp man?"steven asked conrad from across the table
since conrad couldn't open his mouth and speak, jere spoke for him "he quit football"
as if it wasn't silent before, it was even quieter. how could that even be possible. these times are where we need bailey, she always helps with awkward moments.
"you quit football?" steven asked conrad
"mhm" conrad hummed, i sat to the left of belly so i sat right next to conrad, and my mom sat to the left of steven, also by susannah
"are you kidding me man? id kill to play college ball" steven exclaimed, looking back between susannah and conrad

"i'm not gonna change my mind" conrad talks "i was just gonna sit on the bench all season anyways"

i was cut off by my mom calling my name out "parker" she tried hard not to laugh
"sorry i was just trying to make the tension in here go away, you know" i stood up when i heard my sister crying "that's my que, i'll be right back"
as i walked away i felt eyes buring through my back, i looked over my shoulder and winked at conrad.
after i went to check on piper i went back to the dinner table, seeing everyone enjoying themselves
"what did i miss?" i asked the table, sitting back down in my seat
"that you and belly are gonna be debs" steven said, making me my eyebrows furry
