"good morning missy" i heard my mom say as i walked down the stairs of my house

i rubbed my head as she continued to talk "jeremiah and conrad dropped you off last night, said you were out" she paused, getting a good look at me "have fun at the party, or to drunk you couldn't even stay awake?" she sarcastically asked me
"wait you said conrad dropped me off?" i asked her
"and jeremiah, is that all you got from that?" she asked me and i shook my head "well you got a big day ahead of you"

"gonna take piper out for surfing lessons" she said and i groaned "being in the water will help your hangover, it'll wake you"
"that literally that opposite i need" i exclaimed and she just shook her head
"not in my world, go get piper, pretty sure she's ready" mom left the living room
i went to my room to go and change then headed to pipers
once i got to her room i saw her in a bathing suit and a shirt to protect her skin

she did stand up and she caught her first wave today, i chased after her and picked her up. carding her in one hand and the big ass bored in the other
"good job!" i smiled at her

i turned and it was in fact conrad, i sighed then looked at piper "wanna go say hi?" i asked her and she nodded
i put the surf board down in the sand and i walked to conrad with piper in my arms
