friday night, Camille's Pov:

I step out of the shower, a towel wrapped around my body. I wipe the steam of the mirror and pull out lotion from my drawer. I absentmindedly smear it over my thighs, my calfs, my arms, my torso, I zone out throughout it all.

I dry off and put on comfy clothes for the time being. I have about an hour left until I have to go. for that whole hour, I zone out and think about Emilia, Vicki, Damian, his friend, and Kurt. I want everything to look perfect so im not embarrassed.

I change into the dress I chose, put my hair into a neat bun, and begin to do my makeup. after its done, I spray setting spray and some of my perfume. I look at myself in the mirror once more, and im out.

I walk down the stairs, my heels echoing throughout the halls. I notice the sunset over the city line of LA, it calms me down. I grab my bag, walk out the door and get into my car. I give myself one more reassuring smile in the rearview mirror, and begin to drive.

Kurts pov:

I comb through my hair, hoping I look at least presentable. all the people going to the show were probably rich since tickets were expensive. this jessie girl was almost famous. I could learn a thing or two from her.

I had showered an hour before, I even blow dried it upside down like someone once said would help my hair be more fluffy. I tried out Damians style, black dress pants I had worn to a funeral once and a white button up. I hoped I didn't look to stupid.

I decided to take an uber instead of taking my car, ive always been insecure about it. plus, ill probably be drunk anyway. I wait for the uber, go on my phone and take a few dee breaths. I have no idea why im so nervous.

7:30 pm, Kurts pov:

I arrive to the place, I get out of the car and take another deep breath. I text Camille that im here and waiting out front for her. she reads it almost instantly. I wait for a minute then see her walking towards me quickly, she looks absolutely gorgeous.

she's wearing a loose black silk dress that falls to her thighs, her hair is up into a bun and she wears a gorgeous diamond necklace. somehow I never thought anything could top how she looked at Damians birthday, but she topped it now.

she gives me a smile and pulls me in for a hug, "I'm so glad you could make it, we're just waiting on Damians friend."

"you look amazing, please don't tell me im underdressed?" I ask.

"nono, im the overdressed one, you look good," she gives me a reassuring smile. she grabs my hand and starts to pull me into the building. there's a line, I prepare to wait but she just walks straight passed everyone. im expecting to go into the table area, but she snagged us VIP seats on the second row, its gorgeous. the table is circular with cushioned chairs surrounding it, they are marked by name. I pray to sit next to either Camille or Damian.

don't get me wrong, Emilia was cool and all but all I saw of her was her making out with Damian or talking to Camille.

Damian is already sitting down, talking to Emilia and some other girl. I assumed that was Vicki. she had long black hair and wore fake eyelashes, she was wearing a matching crop top and skirt set and doc Martin platforms.

"hey, Vicki you haven't met Kurt yet have you?" she asked her.

"no I don't think I have, nice to meet you Kurt." she said while looking me up and down. I don't know whether she was judging me or not. probably judging.

"hey kurt! nice to see you again!" damian said getting up to pull me into another hug. man this family likes hugs. he pulls me aside,
"thank you for driving camille the other day by the way."

"no problem, it was my pleasure." i cringe as song as i say that. to my luck he just laughs instead of finding that weird to say.

we walk back over to the table where everyone is, i sit down next to camille and grab my phone from my pocket to see who this jessie adams girl is.

at some point this friend of damian's arrives. he's blonde, but short as hell. camille is taller then him even without heels.

she sits back down next to me and smiles at me before looking back to the stage, jessie has gotten on the stage by now.

we order drinks and damian's friend and camille walk off to get them. my eyes follow her, i don't know what it is but i don't like this friend of hers. i push the feeling down and watch the show. when they come back camille sits back down near me.

by the end of the night, camille is absolutely wasted. i passed on drinks since i noticed she was drinking a lot, and heavily.

"camille hey you want me to drive you home?" damian's friend who i've came to know as zach asks her.

"don't you live like an hour away?" she asks, her words are slurred

"i can take her home man, it's not a problem." i tell him. he looks at me, glares for a minute then agrees since damian told him he needed something.

"kurt, did you like the show?" she asks me, her words slurred again and she giggles.

"yeah it was fun, thank you for inviting me. where did you park?" i ask

"she's over here, also kurt come here for a second" damian asks me. i walk over to where he is.

"thank you for offering to drive her home, i'll pay for your uber back to your house."

"again, absolutely no problem."

i walk back over to camille, she's leaning on her car with emilia next to her. they're laughing about something and hugging goodbye.

"kurt are you driving me?" she asks me

"yeah i am, damian and emilia are driving that other guy back home. is that okay?"

"that's fine, here's the keys."  she tosses them to me and walks over to the passenger side. i unlock the car and get in. im suprised at how nice the car is.

she turns on a song and sings along to it, i try to focus on driving her. she eventually falls asleep in the car.

i pull into her driveway, and walk over to the passenger side door. i shake her awake slightly, i carry her bag for her and bring her up to her front door. i unlock the door with her keys, and help her inside.

the house was cleaned up nicely.

"do you want to stay in the living room?" she asks me, her voice is quiet.

"damian is calling me an uber, thank you though, can i wait on the couch until it gets here?"

"yeah that's fine, thank you for driving me home."

she walks up the stairs and into her room, i wait for the uber in silence.
