Red son couldn't believe how he got into this situation

now stuck in the wilderness with the two most annoying people on the planet thanks to their stupid plan exploding

now crashlanded in without indication of where to go

red son could have easily transported them away if it were not for the world to laugh at their situation and adding rain to it

she hated the rain, it made teleporting harder than needed and next to near impossible with teleporting with extra cargo

no, they had to wait it out before that option once more came available

the other two seemed to try and be more positive about the matter

MK used his staff to look above, but trees were only to be seen, even with golden vision

Mei had seen some fruit in one of the nearby trees and once more red found himself being hoisted upon her shoulders to grab the fruit, naturally grown apple trees with no help from farmers or others it seemed

the three had gathered under the largest tree for shelter and ate, the sky becoming darker and the stars could now be seen

before the three decided to just go to sleep and wait for morning before moving again red son made it clear that the side he chose was not to be crossed during the night, he had divided it into threes which lead to halves due to Mk and Mei huddling to each other in the night

red son found it hard to sleep at night, usually staying up longer on side projects

the rain didn't help either, it was irritating and loud, yet when it came to thunder or strong winds he found himself falling to sleep much easier, it was bizzar

but then a more annoying noise entered his pointed ears

teeth chattering and shivering

with a sigh red son turned on her side where they could see his....'aquantiences'

the two were quivering in their sleep, holding onto each other for warmth and comfort

they couldn't use the ship for the base because the near look of it told you it wasn't near safe

and thanks to this stupid, STUPID rain, it meant if he really wanted to stop that noise and use some nearby branches to make a fireplace, he couldn't because it was too wet

he tried to ignore it, but the noise just kept banging in his eardrum and gnawing his brain

so with a growl of annoyance and a light-up of hair, he walked towards the pair and pushed them apart, not before taking off his coat and undoing his usual gravity-defying hair

the two woke up with a start, (although they couldn't really call it to sleep with how restless they felt) and watched in surprise as the demon bull prince laid in between the two and placed his coat on top of them all

"red son?" MK asked with confusion and shock before being quickly shut down

"shut up and let me sleep, I am too tired to hear you peasants chattering " red son grumbled as he chose to ignore their stares and laid down on the grass

as in an instant MK's and Mei's body temperatures began to rise

"Woah! it's like having a portable radiator!" Mei gasped in awe as hugged the demons side, and in an instant, the fire demon jolted upright

"I said be quiet! and stop hugging me! I did not say that you could touch me!" red son yelled with rage

but the two had grown used to these little tantrums and knew that red son wasn't truly angry but slightly embarrassed

"Alright, no touchy got it" MK chuckled as they gave a light yawn

"well good night all" Mei smiled as she gave a yawn herself, shuffling comfy under the makeshift coat and resting her eyes

with the noise-free of chattering and shivering red son produced a yawn of his own and followed their lead as he entered a deep sleep

in the early morning, the rain had finally stopped

and three superpowered beings all holding each other in peaceful slumber in the middle of the woods
