(spoliers for season 4)

Red son gasp for breaths as he arrived at the celestial realm

although his fire teleportation powers never took too much energy, the memories of why he arrived at the said celestial realm were still so much to process

their mind was a whirlwind of emotion, yet his legs ran as fast as they could

if he wasn't in such a rush he may have seen celestial guards stare at him with confusion and anxiousness

although Redson was allowed to be there with being half celestial, the stories of his other half, or more so his demonic father who brought one of their own onto his side was enough to cause the guards to be on alert

a crowd staring at the little hybrid as it seemed she was growing weary

but luckily the being in which they were searching for was also alerted, but not so edge then running towards the young fire demon

"Red son?" Nezah questioned with worry as the prince used his body to block red son from running any further

"Nezah! the....they" Red son stumbled, his voice failing as he tried to explain what had just happened

"slow and steady red son" Nezah instructed as he lead her down slowly to hopefully ground him

"I, bull king, mother, they were...we were attacked, the brotherhood, Azura lion, trapped in a...a" Red son was only able to announce, struggling to say what he had seen and was clearly becoming more distressed

"Alright, alright, that's all we need, just continue breathing slowly for me" Nezah reassured quickly before looking to the closest celestial guard whilst keeping a gentle hand on their back, head gently resting against the lotus prince's chest

"alert the celestial army and the jade emperor that the Brotherhood is coming, ensure all citizens are to be evacuated" Nezah ordered, causing all to leave in preparation for battle

leaving a stern-looking but worried Nezah to care for a currently shaking red son

"Again" red son whispered shakily

tears slowly forming as her firey hair embed with emotion

"he's gone, AGAIN! and now mother is gone too...and I couldn't-" Red son growled as he tried to keep the tears in

only for Nezah to wrap him in his arms, landing their head in the crook of Nezahs neck

"you've done what we needed you to do" Nezah comforted, stroking the little demon's hair, impervious to the heat

"you're here and you alerted us, without you we wouldn't be able to prepare, you've helped so much and did well, just let it out" Nezah whispered, doing all he could to assure red son that he had done well

And with that red son cried hard, holding onto the lotus prince desperately holding onto him as the tears flowed like a waterfall

they would be ready for a fight

but right now, a son needs comfort after losing his parents, for one this would be the 4th if he recalled well, not that it made it any easier

he remembered when redson was merely a toddler when it first happened

the prince spent a lot of time babysitting the younger prince during that time, PIF was in mourning losing her husband in which he did his best to comfort her too

it seemed that most of the interaction with the DBK was comforting

yet he couldn't bring himself to care, especially when it came to red son, they were practically brothers at this point

and so like a big brother, he would be there for his little brother

"I am not letting them get away with this!" Red son declared as her tears turned to sniffles

"I promise, we are going do all we can to get your parents back and stop the brotherhood" Nezah declared as he wiped the last remaining tears from under the fire hybrids glasses

Red son nodded in agreement and determination

Nezah smiled as he helped the younger being back onto their feet

"thank you" redson whispered

a sentence that was only exclusive to the lotus prince

so with a deep breath, the two brothers used their fire powers to travel to the front lines where the celestial army was ready for their command

Nezah made sure to stick close to the little fire demon

if anything happened to red son, there would hell to pay
