If only he knew how much I loved him this whole time.
I need to get away. From all of this.
I put on a shirt and spandex, grab my AirPods and phone and walk out the door, telling nobody anything.
I cry as I listen to music thinking about it. About what happened.
I start running to the water. I take my shoes off and put my feet in. I scroll through my phone seeing edits of me and jaden. I start to cry even more.
I set my phone down and watch the sunset.
That's when I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Watching the sunset alone huh? It's beautiful isn't it?"
I turn around to see a cute guy standing behind me.
"Oh hi what are you doing here?" I ask trying to wipe my tears.
"No what are you doing here? This is our property." He says laughing.
I just give him a faint smile and look down.
"I'm kadyn by the way." He says
"I'm taylor." I say quietly
"You look a bit rough . But i just wanna let you know, that whatever or whoever is bothering you, isn't worth it. It'll all get better soon. Trust me." He says pulling me into a hug.
I smile and hug him back.
"Thank you so much. I really needed that." I say.
"Of course. Have you eaten dinner yet?" He asks.
"Nope not ye-" but before I could finish, he grabs my hand and takes me inside his house.
"It's so beautiful!" I say looking around.
"It really is.. let's go see where my moms at." He says guiding me through the house.
We see his mom setting the table.
"Hi kadyn! New friend?" She says with a wink.
"Yesss her name is taylor! Do you mind if she eats dinner with us tonight?" Kadyn asks.
"Of course she can!"
Kadyns mom grabs my hands.
"You are so stunning!! Come! Take a seat next to kadyn at the table! There's plenty of room." She says.
I take a seat next to kadyn and his mom brings out some chicken and mashed potatoes.
"Smells so good mrs...?"
"Oh please! Call me kendall!" She says setting down my plate.
"Of course! This smells so good!" I say.
"Why thank you! It's a homemade recipe!" She says and winks.
Me, kadyn, and kadyns mom kendall all eat together.
Kendall starts bringing up all these memories from when kadyn was a baby.
"Mommm stop!!" Says kadyn
"No it's so cute!!" I say taking a sip of my tea.
Kendall smiles at me.
"Oh! Y'all should take a dip in the lake! The temp is perfect right now! And your dad should be home any minute kadyn!" Kendall says.
"Okay!!" Says kadyn.
He drags me to his room.
"Have a swimsuit?" He asks.
"No! Does it look like I do?" I say laughing.
"That's fine we can just go in our clothes."
"Idk kadyn!! I might have to go back home!" I say checking my phone.
"Please stay so we can swim!!" He says.
I see that I have 21 missed calls and 35 messages from jaden.
"You know what? I'll stay!" I say.
"Good! Because I'm gonna throw you in!" He says picking me up and carrying me outside.
"KADYN!!! YOU BITCH!!" I say laughing.
He throws me into the water and he jumps in with me.
"I'm so gonna get u back!" I say coming up for air.
"When?"
"Tomorrow! Let's go somewhere!" I say.
"Okay.. but.." kadyn says
"But what?" I ask confused
"BUT I HAVE TO DROWN YOU FIRST!!!" Kadyn says pushing me down.
I come up laughing.
"Your fun kadyn." I say looking at him.
"Oh trust me I know." Kadyn says all cocky.
"Dick!" I say pushing him with my hand.
We took a couple pictures together and they came out so cute. I post them on insta and me and Kadyn follow each other
