You sat in the front passenger seat of Arny's Jeep, squeezing his hand to cool your nerves. Though Danny and you had come to good terms, Will still sent you glares that could.

Danny and Brandon sang along to whatever played on the radio while you had your headphones on and used your free hand to fiddle with your jacket zipper.

You were honestly very scared to take off your jacket and basketball shorts. You don't usually show off a lot of skin, especially in front of boys, but you only owned one bathing suit. It was a gift from your best friend back home; she thought a sexy swimsuit would help you get some.

You occasionally glance at Arny out of the corner of your eye when that thought came to mind.

*what would his reaction be? Will he be protective? Maybe he won't care.*

Brandon's fingers snapping in your face catch your attention, and you pull out an earbud.

"Sorry, what?" You look at him confused.

"I asked if you were going swimming in that?" He raised a brow.

"Oh," you raise both brows in realization. "Um, I don't know if I'm going swimming yet. I'm still contemplating it," you confess.

"Why come to the beach if you're just going to be a buzz kill?" Will snaps from behind you.

"Will-" you interrupt Arny before he can even start his sentence.

"I promise not to kill your buzz. I'll stay out of your way," you say simply before putting your earbud back in.

You continue to look out the window, allowing the wind to blow your loose strands of hair everywhere.

Your bun was beginning to become undone, but you didn't mind it. When Arny finally found a good spot on the beach, you let out a sigh of relief when Will got out first.

The rest of the boys proceeded to follow him, but you remained in your seat. Deciding that you wouldn't be the one to ruin today's fun, you let out a sigh as you unbuckle your seatbelt.

You leave your flip-flops in the truck and smile at the feeling of the soft sand against your toes. Grabbing your beach bag, you head to a spot a few feet from the Jeep and set up your little area. After building up enough courage, you strip of your hoodie and shorts, neatly putting them away in your bag.

You lay on your towel and absorb the ray from the burning ball of gas. After a while of laying on your front, you turn over onto your back with your eyes closed.

The warmth on your skin sent sensations of pleasure through you.

NOT THAT PLEASURE, YOU NASTIES! Get your shit together!

You eventually sit up to read Saving Everest while sipping on a wine cooler that the guys bought for you.

"Hello, love," Arny comes to sit beside you.

"Hey," you look up and bookmark your page. "What's up?"

"Um, just wanted a closer look at your swimsuit," he winks at you.

You roll your eyes and giggle.

"It was a gift from an old friend; it's also the only one I own," you sigh.

"Come get in the water," he encourages.

"I don't want to ruin Will's fun," you look at the smiling boy as he throws a ball to Danny. "I don't understand what I did to make him hate me so much."

"He doesn't-"

"Yes, he does," you interrupt. "Will has made it very clear that I'm not welcome in this circle."
