The first Fleet of Ships in Blue Island Lines, it had to most successful and second longest career out of the entire fleet.

Launch and Early Career: 1890's to 1900's

the first ship on the Blue Four was launched on July 18, 1892, as the "SS Blue", the Blue is still one of the smallest ships in Blue Island Line's history, and their oldest.

As with the cheap prices, the small company quickly ordered three more ships, and soon they became the Blue Four.


Final Days: 1920's to 1930's

As the 1920's rolled in the Blue Four wasn't struggling, but with Steamships becoming more advanced in tech, Blue Island decided the retire the Blue Four starting in 1931.

In the beginning all four were to be scrapped, but Blue One didn't make the cut, do to a "backup plan" decision by a board member.


Ships Of The Line:

1st Ship: RMS Blue One formerly "SS Blue": Launched: July 18, 1892. Retired in 1928, Brought back to service in 1946, and renovated. Status: Renovated in 1951 as a Hotel and Museum Ship in Southampton. Will be moved to Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex.

2nd Ship: RMS Blue Two: Launched: May 2nd, 1893. Retired: 1929. Status: Scrapped in 1931.

3rd Ship: RMS Blue Three: Launched: May 5th, 1893. Retired: 1932. Status: Scrapped in 1935.

4th Ship: RMS Blue Four: Launched: May 8th, 1893. Retired: 1931. Status: Scrapped in 1933.
