With the creation of the Global Cruise Corporation & PLC, in 1963, Global Sea's gave Blue Island access to some new ships, they had been constructing.

These are state of the art, and the most advanced in the fleet.


Merger with Global Sea's Corporation. Modern Fleet: Late 1960's to 1990's

1st Ship: SS Sea Aurora: Launched: October 21, 1967. Status: In Service under Global Sea Lines.

2nd Ship: SS Austria: Launched: November 1, 1966. Status: In Service under Global Sea Lines.

3rd Ship: SS Helsinki: Launched: May 1, 1970. Status: Renamed to "Sea Lady" in 2004. Currently undergoing modernization in Belfast. Will be going under only two more cruises under the name "SS Finlanda" before being converted to a Hotel Ship for the Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex.

4th Ship: SS Ocean Adventurer. Originally going to be called "Viktoria": Launched: Janruary 20, 1972. Status: Undergoing Renovation. Sold in 1979 to Flotta Lauro Lines repainted and renamed to "Opera". Sold to an American Cruise Company in 1989. Retired in 2000, originally sent for scrap it was bought by American Cruise Lines and renamed for "American Hope". Rebought by Global Sea in 2022 for the Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex. Currently being renovated back into SS Ocean Adventurer and will be named Viktoria.

The second of the new fleet, the Sea Aurora wasn't the biggest in the new fleet but was one of the most technological, with dozens of new technologies and equipment, and was filled with the latest luxuries at the time.

The Sea Aurora still remain one of Global Cruises most popular ships, generates tons of money a year.
