Chapter 19

~(Y/N)'S BIRTHDAY...~

YOUR POV:

"Psst...(y/n)...wake up..." I woke up to someone shaking me gently.

I opened one eye and saw Matt holding a plate.

Then I closed my eye again.

"Two more minutes...maybe make it 10..." I groaned.

"Why? Its your birthday today! You should be happy!" Matt asked me.

I slowly turned and groaned, "I know! But, it feels like I'm really, really old now.".

"Oi! Stop whining! You're 27 now while I'm going to be 33 this year. You're still young..." Matt told me.

I gave a heavy sigh and sat up.

Matt handed me the plate.

It had a pancake on it with some chocolate syrup that said : "Love you, birthday girl" And it had a fork next to it.

I smiled.

Then Matt kissed me on my cheek and sweetly said: "Happy Birthday, love.".

"Thanks." I said as I put my hand around his neck.

He walked out of my room and gently closed the door.

I ate a part of the pancake then walked out of my room.

"Hello, sweetie. Happy Birthday!" Mom greeted me with a kiss.

"Thanks!" I said.

Then she noticed the pancake Matt gave me.

"Ah...that's why Matt needed to go to your room." Mom said.

"Oh, to give me this?" I asked.

"Yes." She answered.

I went to the dining room and sat on a chair.

Then, Dylan hugged me and greeted me a normal 'Happy Birthday!'.

After eating, I went out the backyard and I saw Matt doing tricks with the soccer ball.

"Oh, hello (y/n)!" Matt greeted me once he saw me.

"Hi..." I said in a depressed tone.

I sat on the floor until Matt sat next to me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Matt asked me while he pulled me closer to him.

"Well, everyone's been greeting me in a normal 'Happy Birthday'. Its like...my birthday's not special or something. I feel so left out..." I sadly answered.

Matt kissed me on my head and said: "Its okay, its special. Maybe everyone's busy at the time.".

"Maybe..." I said.

MATT'S POV:

"I'll buy some ice cream for you." I told (y/n).

"Sure." She scoffed.

I helped her stand up and we both walked in the house.

"See you." I kissed her then ran out of the house.

Once I made it out, I grabbed my phone and called Aya.

She came here with Riane so she could meet me and (y/n).
