I spent the night at my parents, and by morning, I had made my decision, though, I was dreading telling them. I poofed into the studio. The boys weren't there, but Julie walked in, school bag slung across her back.

"Hey Luke!" she greeted happily. She ran up and gave me a big hug.

"I love this, don't you?"

"Yeah."

"I'm walking to school today, wanna join me?" she asked, holding my hand. I looked down at our hands, smiling. Then, I remembered. I pulled my hand away, clearing my throat.

"Julie, I need to tell you something." I began.

"Oh, ok."

"Uhh... I'm sorry, I sorta like Reggie. I didn't realise- "my voice broke. "I didn't realise until last night.

"Oh... ok," she managed. She looked down. "I've gotta get going." She ran out of the garage, and I sighed.

"Reeeaaaalll smooth." Alex said. I turned around to see him behind me, Reggie next to him, mouth gaping wide open.

"How much did- "the whole thing," Alex cut in.

"Are- you serious?" he murmured. I nodded, looking him in the eyes.

"You broke up with her... for me?" I nodded again. A tear slid down his face as he ran to me, hugging me.

"But don't you like her?"

"not as much as I like you."
