y/n's POV
I woke up to a rhythmic knocking on my door.
"Y/n! Despierta!(wake up)" I heard my best friend shout.
I jumped out of bed and and changed.
I skipped down the floating staircase of my tower and burst of my room.
"Mañana Camilo!(morning camilo)" I said running past him.
"Hey, wait up!" He said as I slid down the railing.
I grabbed the arepa that was sitting on the table and stuffed it in my mouth.
"Morning mamá" I said as I passed by her, on my way to the door.
"Morning amour" she said, kissing my cheek "Miss Hernandez's cat got stuck in the tree again, she asked for your help" my eyes widened.
"Again!? This is like, the 6th time this week" I said with a groan "besides, I have to help you set up" I said.
"I know honey, but you know how miss Hernadez can get..." my mom said.
I sighed.
"Fine, I'll go help...but tell Camilo to wait for me, he'll know" I said, looking up at my best friend, who was leaning against the wall with a bored look.
He caught my eye and smiled.
I smiled back.
I turned away from him.
"Adióz mamá" I said, waving at her.
"Ah, y/n, finally, there you are!" Miss Hernandez said as I walked up to her.
"Michi got stuck in the tree again" she said, pointing to the tree near her house.
I rolled my eyes and made the orange cat float down.
"Salud y/n!(bless you y/n!)" She said, hugging the cat to her chest.
"Miss Hernandez, have you considered cutting down the tree? So Moshi doesn't get stuck in it again...?" I said, only to realize she was already back in her house.
"Algunas personas...(some people...)" I said to myself.
I walked back to the casita and went straight to Dolores.
"¿Dolores, sabes dónde está Camilo? (Dolores, do you know where Camilo is?)" She held her ear out.
"Arrive, en su habitación (upstairs, in his room)" She said, looking back me.
"Ok, gracias" I said, runnig up the stairs, and burtsing into Camilo's room.
"Sup idiot!" I said, laughing as he jumped back from the, mirror in which he was fixing his hair.
"Dios mio sinsonte, was that necessary?" He asked, walking towards me.
"Yes, now come on!" I said dragging him out.
I walked into the kitchen, Camilo following behind me.
Tía Jullieta was standing near the stove, cooking arepas.
"Tía, where's Mirabel?" I asked.
"I don't know, I think she went to the nursery" she said turning to face me.
"Ok thanks tía!" I said running out.
I stopped and walked back, Camilo staring at me with confusion.
