Power of puppy dog eyes

I was on the couch watching minions as Preston was making dinner
The rest of the boys went out to someones house I think they were talking about a party or something.
"Can you buy me a puppy Preston???"
"Honey we talked about this" he said
"Well Percy talked about it not you" I say as he rolls his eyes trying to hold in a laugh
"Ur very sassy kiddo, ur a mini Pierce" he says putting food on the island, picking me up and sitting me down on the bar stool
"Nuh uh" I say
"Ya huh" he argues back smiling and goes to tickle me
"No no no" I say laughing as he tickles me
"No more preston!"
He smiles then stops "eat up baby girl"
"Can we go look at the puppy's after just for fun"
"Fine kiddo just for fun tho were not getting one" he says
I nod and giggle
"Im serious young lady" he says
"Oki oki" I say as I eat

As we walk into the adoption center I see a bunch of puppies and run to them
"Can i pet these ones??" I ask
"Yes u can" he says as I start to pet them
"He just licked me" I say as I giggle

I played fetch with them and petted them for about 20 minutes passed by
"U wanna come pet the puppies?" I ask
"Eh why not" he says sitting next to me picking the dog up and pets it but the dog jumps back into my lap and I hug it
"I think he likes me" I giggle
"I think so to" Preston says
"So can we get her" I say
"Honey, we've had this talk. No, we're only here to play with them" he said sternly
"But-" I start to say "No buts im sorry honey" he says as a tear starts to roll down my cheek.
His eyes soften "oh Presley don't cry" he says as I give him my puppy eyes and let a couple more tears fall
"Preston please please please" I say sniffling
"Fine ok" he says
I smile and run up to him hugging him.
"Thank you thank you!!!"
"No problemo princess " he says hugging me and kissing my forhead
"You think of what ur gonna name her and Ill be right back with the paper work" he says going to the desk wich was only like a couple feet away.
He finishes the paperwork and comes back with a dog bed, food and treats in his hand.
"What are u gonna name her sweetie"
"Sprinkle" I say smiling
"Ok baby lets go then" he says ushering me out the car putting me in my car seat

He takes me to get ice cream and then we go home.
I feel big arms lifting up as I fell asleep in the car
"Preston"
"Yes baby" he says rubbing my back unlocking the door to go inside
"Can I play with sprinkles"
"Yes but only for 30 minutes cuz you have to go to bed soon" he says as I nod
He puts me down and I run to the living room going to play fetch with sprinkles.

30 minutes later after playing fetch and watching spongebob with sprinkles, Preston comes to the living room.
"Time for bed, the boys are coming home soon"He says
"Not tierd Preston" I say running around with sprinkles making him run after his chew toy
"Ik I shouldn't of let you nap, not this late anyway" I say
"It was only like 8:00" I say shrugging
"Your bed time is 9:00 honey" he says
I giggle and throw the chew toy to sprinkles again
"Cmon it's bed time sweetie" he says as I shake my head rapidly
"Nope not tierd" I say giggling
He pinches his nose "lets go Presley marie." He says sternly as I frown
"Noooo, im not tierd Preston, 5 more minutes please " I complain making puppy eyes
"Fine" he says groaning
"YAY" I throw my hands up in the air and run around with the dog
"Yup she's not going to bed anytime soon" he mumbles under his breath
Eventually I was running around with sprinkles and The boys walk in.
"What on earth is going on here" I hear Percy say
"Wait who's dog is that?" Parker asks
"OURS ISN'T HE SO CUTE" I say running up to them and sprinkles jumps on there legs
They crouch down to pet her and I smile and giggle
"How did you get the dog baby?" Parker asks

"Well Preston took me to see the puppies just to look but this one dog never left me alone and she's obviously so cute so I asked if we can get her and he said okay" I giggle jumping up and down.
The boys slightly glare at him but look back to me
"Honey having a dog is a big responsibility"
" I will take care of her please" I say
"Really so ur gonna pick up his you know what?"
Pierce says
"Yuckkk no, can u do it Pierce" I say
"Ew no" he says
"Ok fine Preston please can you do it" I say giving him puppy dog eyes, hugging him tight and looking him straight in his eyes
"Ughhh fine" he says as I smile and giggle as the boys playfully roll there eyes
"She has you wrapped around her little fingers" Pierce says to Preston then looks at me while im playing with sprinkles not even paying attention.
"Ok Presley time for bed" Preston says
"Not tierd" I say giggling as Sprinkles licks my face.
"Presley its a half an hour past ur bed time" Parker says
I groan "I'll go to bed in 10 minutes" I say
"U don't get to make that choice Presley " Parker says
"Can I at least watch a movie on the couch until I fall asleep" I say
"Just let her, Parker 15 minutes and after can u finish putting her to bed Preston we need to have a chat" he says as he goes into the kitchen and Preston and Pierce follow
"Lets get on ur pj's" he says leading me upstairs
I get my pyjamas on and we go downstairs and he puts on cloudy with a chance of meatballs
As I watch the movie I slowly start to drift off to sleep resting my head on Parker.
