Paytons POV Right now My brothers and mommy and daddy are trying to win custody over me, I had to be asked questions and it was scary but after I was done Preston gave me candy and we played with a football inside the court hallway
Back to the court Nobodys POV
I cant believe you guys are taking away our kid again!" Tom and Katherine say "Well you don't take good care of him we will, your never there" Percy says "Order in the court" the judge says "May I take the order sir?" Parker said doing his lawyer thing lol as the judge nods "Calling Up Katherine and Tom up to the stand" he says fixing his tie. "Is it true that you guys are always busy or are drinking when in presence of Payton" he says "N-no we just like to relax at night ok?" Tommy says to the judge "Is it true you didn't want Presley at one point just because you didnt want a girl and you only wanted boys?" "Ya but so what I try to change my mind" he said scoffing "Only because we tried to take her away after you and Katherine started drinking again, also thats child neglectment clearly they could possibly do that to Payton if they already did it to Presley don't you think so Your honor, infact Payton said this has already been happening you heard him" Parker says playing dirty as the judge takes notes and nods "Any other details Mr.Cromwell?" The judge asks Parker "No sir" he says as he sits down "Ok then case closed Congratulations Percy and Parker you now have Custody of Payton Maxum Cromwell as well as keeping custody of Presley Marie Cromwell" he says as they smile and look at eachother Mission accomplished!
Parker's POV Wow what a wild week, it took us the whole week to set up the court date, ofc I set it up since I was the lawyer in the family but Percy helped handle the forms we had to sign to help with the custody process and blah blah. We were bringing Payton home with his luggage and everything and got him McDonalds, Percy was on the phone with the school and was working on getting him enrolled. Pierce was watching Presley for the day so I'm sure they were having fun Pretty sure he took her to the beach, anyways I pull up at home and bring Payton inside and showed him to his room that we recently re-modeld, it was blue he had a race car bed and sports wallpaper. He loved it and we also got him a go kart he was so so happy I loved it! Percy and I hung out with him for a while and taught him how to ride it until Presley and Pierce got home! It was so so fun! We were all gonna have some days with him to get to know him better but yea we were all so so so excited!
By the time we got home from court it was already 2 o'clock and by the time we were done hanging out it was 6 so we ordered a pizza and had a family movie night, we watched the incredibles because thats what Payton chose and we all had some popcorn it was a pretty successful day.
Presleys POV Payton was trying to throw popcorn into my mouth and he finally got one in "score!!" He says as I almost chocked and coughed it back up. "No more guys" Percy says as Preston made me drink some water "Can I have a juicebox please" Payton says as the boys nodded "I'll get it!" I say running in the kitchen giggling as the boys tell me to slow down "No more sugar for her" Percy said shaking his head as Payton laughed "Bossy" I say coming back in the room doing my sassy walk "Hey im not bossy" Percy says "You have alot of rules percyyyyy" I say shrugging "Rules?" Payton asked "Oh ya we were gonna talk about house rules tomorrow but I suppose we can do it now to get it outta the way" Percy says as Payton nods "So rule 1, inside voices and don't run in the house especially on the steps Rule 2, bed time is at 9 and all technology is taken at 8 so like ur ipad Rule 3, if u want to go somewhere or if ur gonna go swimming or outside make sure one of us is with u Thats really it and oh lastly our word always goes and No arguing or attitude, to any adult for that matter, no means no, respect is our biggest rule ok buddy?" Percy says explaining everything to him as he nods "Ok sounds easy enough" he giggles, he's so poliet I don't think he will have a problem with any of the rules. He's pretty awesome. "Okay time for bed" Parker says as Payton nods and he picks him up "Ill take her up and come say goodnight to u after ok buddy? She goes asleep quickly don't worry" Percy says "Take your time I understand" he says as percy picks me up. I was tierd so I yawned and rested my head on his shoulder Eventually we were both out like a light and ya what an eventful day! Were all happier then ever!
