"I'm not going in there not without Sampson anyway" I quickly said, "look I understand you want to find your dog but think about it this gate was open and dogs have brilliant eye sight in the dark so what makes you think his still here and not in there". I stood there and looked at her for a moment as she was pointing to the gate, knowing she was completely right. I agreed and nodded my head in approval for going through with her. We looked at each other for a moment, giving each other confidence to go through with our eyes, I finally looked at the entrance of where we was about to go. It was dark no clue of where it leads just pure darkness "It can't be as bad as here" I said trying to make the situation easier for both of us. "Were not going to find out standing around" Jasmine responded as she headed through the gate. I called her "Jasmine" but she did not answer which was when I followed her through with fear running through my body and my legs turning weak thinking of the horror and misery like the riddle warned us about. What if it was a warning about more knights or whether it was talking about something far worse that lurked in the unknown place we was heading to. Shit. I saw an entrance a small lit light coming from the gate I entered I also saw Jasmine standing there looking bewildered of her surroundings "What's the matter?...." I said when I was interrupted by the beauty of the cave I entered. It was lightly lit but bright enough for us to see where we were, the walls had water and not blood streaming down them, with hints of shimmer extracting from the sun above which was glimpsing out of the gap above us. We were standing on hard stone floor which was quite slippery as I took one step forward "careful it's not the sturdiest" I warned as I carried on walking forwards slowly. I started to feel how cold it was as I went closer and closer to the edge of where we were walking, I stopped with Jasmine behind me "There's a water pool here, never knew a water pool could be in a cave" I told Jasmine, she looked at me for a while and shrugged her shoulders "Nor me it looks really deep do you think something lives in there" she asked, I started to think that myself, the water was grey and it must have been deep enough so a blue whale could live in there which meant we were pretty high up but didn't really feel it I guess that's the builder in me speaking we are always on top of buildings and high places. "look there's where we got to go" Jasmine was pointing to a stone door, I looked lower and saw the stone ledges going up to the other side, to where the door laid which was pretty high. "How are we getting there?" I asked not certain that I wanted to jump in freezing cold sea water which could have anything swimming inside including sharks "We jump dumb ass" Jasmine snapped. I looked at her with squinted eyes that were now starting to become irritated. She really did piss me off, who was the one who figured the riddle out? Me. How can one man be attracted to someone so beautiful like Jasmine but can be irritated to fuck with her personality all in one, but that wasn't important what was important was getting out of here. I suddenly remembered why I was here looking for my dog who could be anywhere poor Sampson I bet he's so confused right now "Right I'll jump in first and you keep an eye out" Jasmine suggested as she was getting ready to dive I held her back knowing I couldn't let a beautiful woman like herself risk her life while I'm here doing nothing "No I go you're the one with the guns remember" she stood there looking angry as I still held her arm, I slowly loosened my grip and looked her in the eyes hoping my bright blue eyes would change her mind, hey I use what I have "Fine you go" she finally said leaving me on the edge alone with my thoughts. It was getting cold probably because my fear was taking over my body, I looked over the other side of the wall looking at the stone ledges I needed to climb to get to the door "So remember we are looking for a key" Jasmine reminded me as I started to get ready to dive. "You mean I'm looking for a key"
