3 DON'T ask if u.s citizens need passports to visit new Mexico
4 DON'T insist that chile is spelled chili
5 DONT claim that other places Chile is better
6 DONT act as if new Mexico is a foreign country
7 DONT INSULT THE COULTURE (i.e) saying eating grasshoppers is nasty
8 NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BY ALL MEANS DRINK OUT OF A WATER FOUNTAIN OR ACCEPT DRINKS WITH ICE IN THEM OR DRINKS FROM STRANGERS AT ALL NEVER
9 NEVER go to the metro at the hora pico.

1 DO wear sunscreen
2 DO learn a few phrases in Spanish before you speak to anyone
3 DO try the food
4 DO beware of scams because your American they will try to get you
5 DO stick close to me or my mom since we are both Mexican and we have lived here before we know about it
6 DO dress appropriately for your destination and activities
7 DO chose a meal schedule
