'Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be'

*Edited

I wake up and the bed is empty, I look at the clock saying 9:30am. I get out of bed, I overslept. I walk out of the bedroom and make my way to the kitchen. I stop, I could've slept in. I'm so use to my routine. Work, sleep until work. Simple. I didn't want to be stuck in that routine anymore. It made it easy for me to be alone and I didn't want to be alone anymore.

"Why are you up so early?" I look at Luca, he walks in the kitchen and starts to make coffee.

"Before this, I had a routine. Work, go home and sleep until work. Now." I let out a groan and cover my face with my hands. "I still don't know what yall want with me. When will you get bored? It'll be good in the beginning, but when will it end?"

"It won't end." I roll my eyes as I make a cup of coffee. He grabs my chin making me look at him. "Do it again and I'll have you crying so loud, everyone will hear." I see a dangerous look in his eyes.

"I'm sorry." I close my eyes. "I like all of yall and I don't know how to feel or control anything."

"How about we try and find your parents?" I look at him. "You have abandonment issues little one. I promise you, we're not leaving. You need closure, I will be there every step of the way, if you want me to be. What do you say?"

Finding my parents? I never thought of that, Rebekah suggested it once, but I shot it down so quickly. Why would I go searching for someone who didn't want me? Luca is right, I needed closure. I wanted to know why? Only my parents would be able to answer that.

"Thank you Luca." I wrap my arms around his neck, stand on my tippy toes and give him a kiss.

"Go get dressed, we'll go into the office." I get dressed in jeans and a thin off the shoulder sweater. I walk back into the kitchen and see Luca in a suit. I couldn't help my wandering eyes. The way the dress pants fit on his butt. The black button up hugged his body, while his jacket tried to cover it all. "I might have to wear a suit more often if you're going to look at me like that." I could feel my cheeks start to heat up. He leads me outside and he opens the front door for me.

"No bike today?"

"Sorry princess, I guess I need to find other ways to make you wet." I roll my eyes and he grabs my chin making me look at him. "Strike two little one." He shuts my door before getting in and pulling off. We pull up to a huge building.

"You work here?" I mutter out as I look around in awe. I was waiting for a photographer to jump out and start taking pictures of the people walking around. I look at how I'm dressed, oh I definitely don't fit in here.

"We all do. Our own seperate floors." He walks me to the elevators, people moved out of his way when he walked by. I could hear the whispers.

'Who is she?'

'Why is she here?'

'What is he doing with someone like her?'

That was the one that pissed him off, I could feel his body tense.

"If you vaule your job..." Nobody gave him the chance to say anything, the lobby cleared out quickly. I let out a small giggle, putting my hands over my mouth. The elevator doors shut, we make it to the 16th floor. He leads me to an office, I sit down in a chair in front of a desk. He sits behind the desk, I could see why people were scared now. The way he sat even read he could hurt in me less and two seconds.

"Princess." I look at him smiling, bringing me back to reality.

"Sorry." I mutter out, I close my eyes and take a deep breath. "So what's the process?"
