Chapter 4

"Is everything going well with Archer?" my father asked me in the morning.

I stopped from eating. Bigla kong naalala ang sinabi ko sa kaniya kahapon. Darating kaya siya?

"Of course," sagot ko.

Kuya Archiel sipped on the water as he smirked. He eyed me suspiciously. I just rolled my eyes on him.

"That's good. Make sure not to get on hus bad side," mommy warned.

I arched a brow. It's the other way around. He should make sure not to get on my bad side.

"And I heard you slapped a model?" my father raised a brow at me. "I've taken care of it but don't make a mess again, Lyrae. Hindi lahat ng panahon ay nandito kami para linisin ang kalat mo."

I just silently nodded and contninued eating. Susubo pa sana ako ngunit natigilan sa narinig ko.

"His parents suggest that you live with him."

Tila nagpantig ang tenga ko sa narinig.

Alanganin akong ngumiti.

"I think it's not necessary, dad," I refused.

Tumango lang siya at hindi na nagpumilit. But I know that they'll bring up that topic again.

Tinanggal ko ang shades bago pumasok sa venue kung saan gaganapin ang photoshoot. I just tected Archer the place but I didn't receive a reply.

I guess he really doesn't want to come,huh?

Iwinaksi ako ang nasa isipan dahil ayokong mapagalitan na naman. I tried my best to look great in the camera.

We were almost done when the staffs stopped. Pansin kong may tinitignan sila.

Kumunot ang noo ko, hinihintay kung sino man ang nakapukaw ng atensyon nila.

I stopped when I saw Archer walking in the middle. He was wearing white polo and black slacks. His tie was loosed, making him look hotter. Magulo ang kaniyang buhok at may tumutulo pang pawis sa kaniyang noo.

Agad nagtagpo ang aming mata. My breathing hitched. Natutop ako sa aking kinatatayuan.

"Lyrae, focus!" I jumped when I heard seomeone yelled.

Archee crossed his aems as he scanned me from head to toe. He raised his brow at me.

I cleared my throat as I did my best to stay focused. Wala naman akong problema kung maraming tao kasi sanay na ako! But with him watching me intently, I couldn't focus!

Bumuntong hininga ako nang sa wakas ay natapos na. Dumeretso ako sa dressing room upang magpalit ng damit.

Pagkalabas ko ay pinagpyepyestahan na si Archer. They were asking him too many questions.

Bumaling siya sa akin. He smiled but I knew it was fake.

Ako na ang naglakad palapit sa kaniya. His arms immediately snaked at my small waist. Hindi pa rin ako sanay na ganito siya.

Haze eyed me malicously. Pansin ko ang pagkamangha sa mga staff ,lalo na sa mga babae. They were shamelessly scanning my fiance´ from head to toe.

"Hi, I'm Jannah."

Umiling na lang ako nang maglahad ng kamay si Jannah kay Archer. She really doesn't know her place, huh?

Tinitigan lang ni Archer ang kamay ng babae. Jannah smiled hesitantly. Ibinaba na niya ang kamay sa hiya.

"So, when's the wedding?" Haze asked us.

We were still standing at the middle, being the center of attention.
