Exactly 2 months have passed since the Belly made friends with the popular girls, in those 2 months the only thing she had learnt about them was to never share her secrets with them, after listening to them gossiping about the others she knew she couldn't trust those girls

In the course of those 2 months she and Steve have become pretty close friends too, she knew she could trust the guy, even though he's one of the populars he's still somewhat different

Due to both Steve and Belly's parents being out of town often, they were often sleeping over at each other's or just messing around, together, with Belly, Steve could let go of the arrogant popular 'the king' persona he built around school, he felt like he could be silly with her and he wasn't wrong

She also got to know about what had happened the last year and how Will Byers came back from the 'dead' but she only heard their version of the story and now she was curious as to what actually happened

"No! I hate this overpriced bullshit! Son of a bitch! Piece of shit!" Belly heard as soon as she walked inside the arcade she located the source of the voice and saw those four boys

"You want another shot at this?" Belly tilted her head holding up a coin and they just stared at her

"No, we don't need your help" one of the guys spoke up

"C'mon Mike, if she wants to help, she can" Another one said Belly handed him the coin

"I am Isabell by the way, Isabell Wilson"

"I am Lucas" the guy from earlier spoke up as he nudged the guy who was swearing at the game earlier

"Oh, I uh I am Dustin" he stuttered as he just stared at her

"You are gonna play or..." she asked when Dustin suddenly went back to the game and everybody started yelling at him, telling him what to do next, he tried his best, but he lost again

"Shit! Son of a bitch!" Dustin cursed again as Isabell just sighed

"You're not nimble enough but you'll get there one day" Lucas said patting his back "But, until then, Princess Daphne is still mine"

"Whatever, I am still tops on Centipede and Dig Dug" Dustin reminded

"You sure about that?" They heard a voice turning around they saw Keith standing there with his usual puffs

"Sure about what?" They all looked at Keith as he popped one puff into his mouth "You're kidding, No no no no" Dustin sprinted towards another machine and saw the top 5, someone named Madmax being on 1st

"751300 points!" Will exclaimed

"That's impossible" Mike spoke in disbelief

"Who's Madmax" Dustin turned towards Keith

"Better than you" he spoke making Dustin flip him off

"Is it you?" Will pointed his finger at the guy

"You know I despise Dig Dug" Keith scoffed

"Then who is it?" Lucas asked

"Yeah, spill it, Keith" Dustin added

"You want information, then i need something in return" he smiled looking at Mike

"No, no no, No way you're not getting a date with her"

"Date with who?" Belly mumbled from behind confused making Will look at her

"Mike's sister, Nancy, he's been on it for a while now" Will explained to Belly in a low voice as they argued Belly turned her attention back to them

She suddenly felt her side empty and saw no Will, everyone was busy arguing she stepped out of the conversation and went searching for the guy when she finally found him outside

"Will?" she spoke not wanting to startle the guy but he was surprised anyway "You alright?" she approached him carefully, he turned around

"Yeah, I just, I needed some air" He started walking towards her slowly

"Alright, c'mon they finished arguing, and you don't wanna miss your game" she said as she pulled him inside

By the end of the evening she managed to get on their good side, after she nearly beat the score of Madmax on dig dug, they all asked her to join their party, Mike not being too happy about it but agreed when Will told him about how he had another vision and she got him

The next morning as usual Steve picked her up then Nancy, she and Nancy have talked and got along well, Steve dropped her off she got out of the car leaving the two behind

Getting out of the car and walking in, a blue Camaro almost hit her over and she didn't waste two seconds in flipping off whoever was inside the car, she walked in and saw Will by the lockers looking at something

"Hey Will" he greeted as she suddenly crumpled the paper and threw it over startled "What was that?" she asked a little concerned

"Nothing" he said in a panicked voice as he walked away leaving the girl behind she picked up the paper and saw it was a newspaper cut out with the headline 'the boy who came back from the dead' and Will's picture, on which someone had written 'zombie boy' she sighed before throwing it into the trash and walking inside her first class

"Meet the human brain" Mr. Clarke said putting down a model of a brain "I know, I know it doesn't look much, a little gross even right? But consider this" he continued teaching Belly zoned out looking out of the window, she was at the very last bench so it was convenient

Nobody was seemed to paying attention except the four nerdy boys Belly's attention was back in the class when she heard the word 'new student'

"Alright hold up there, you don't get away that easy" Mr. Clarke stopped the redhead when she started walking towards the end of the class room "Come on up, don't be shy, Dustin, Drum roll" Dustin did a dramatic drumroll on his table "Class please welcome all the way from sunny California, the latest passenger to join our curiosity voyage, Maxine"

"It's Max"

"Sorry?"

"Nobody calls me Maxine, It's Max" Belly's head shot up at those words she looked over at Dustin who was looking right back at her

"Madmax" she mouthed as they guy nodded slowly, all the guys eyes at the new 'Voyager' as she took a seat beside Belly, the only empty seat in the whole class

"Welcome to our curiosity voyage" she spoke dramatically in a low voice leaning to her side as Max let out a chuckle
