A few things before we start - Sylvia is the child of Apollo. She's Clarisse's half-sister on the mortal side (they share a mom).
Sylvia is a year older than Percy, so she's 15 in this book.

Percy and Sylvia have a mutual hatred for each other, although Sylvia definitely hates him more than he hates her.
