Ponyboy was walking home from school. He wanted to get home as soon as possible. He was shivering and trembling.
Ponyboy was just having a bad day. He failed a math test (which has never happened), he had lost his jacket, and he was messed with by the Socs.
In all honesty, he wanted the day to end. He
wanted to see his stupid boyfriend, Steve, but he was mentally and physically tired.
As he got closer to his house, there was a low
rumble of a familiar car engine, and he dead
sprinted to his house.
"Come back here you little Greaser", a voice from the car shouted. Pony kept running, and made it to his house.
"Hey", a voice said, making Ponyboy jump closer to the door, "you okay there baby?"
Pony looked at the person, and was met with
Steve's warm, brown eyes. He gulped before saying, "fine."
Steve sighed, "please dont lie to me. You know I hate it when you lie."
Ponyboy took Steve's hand, and lead him to the couch, and began to explain everything to him.
Steve cupped Ponyboy's face with gis hands, and wiped away his tears. He rested their foreheads against each other's, and Pony sighed lightly.
"Hey, im always here to protect you. Okay? No
matter what." Pony smiled at that, and connected his lips to Steve's for a few seconds before pulling back.
"I know. And thank you."
