"You could start today, if you want, the kids will be coming in about an half hour?" Mrs.Robinson suggested – she was the administrator of an after school program called Prospering Youth that helped poverty stricken children and listed the program as an official extension to community service.

The program would occupy the children from the time they'd finish school to around 5 p.m, 6 for the kids whose parents were out later than usual.

They offered academic help, entertainment and refreshments for the kids – keeping them occupied whilst also making them feel not left behind.

The organization's goal was to make these children understand that anything they wanted could be accomplished – and that the world didn't forsake them.

Katan shrugged, " I mean, I just need to contact my PO so he knows I'm doing what I'm supposed to do."

Mrs.Robinson nodded in understanding "Do you have any way I could reach your PO and discuss this with them?” At the moment the organization was short staffed, there were about 5 people in total extending a helping hand – excluding   Mrs.Robinson – but that was barely keeping the 47 children they watched accounted for.

2 were elderly women from a nearby church and the other 3 were highschool students who were doing it for their volunteer work .

The only thing really keeping this organization afloat were the donations – as grateful as Mrs. Robinson was, she knew the only reason they got those donations was to keep face. Nobody, with the capability to change the course of their lives , truly cared about what happens to these children.

KT slid his phone out of his front pocket, sliding through the apps until he reached his contacts "I have his number." He turned the phone towards her.

“May I?” Mrs. Robinson gestured to the phone and Katan handed it to her – she forgot to bring her glasses with her today.
