CHAPTER 4-MATE PART2

Olivia 's pov

'MATE'

It felt like everything stopped around me. I can't even breath.How could it be possible?.He was a human. How could he be my mate?. I was looking at his golden brown eyes that i don't know what i am feeling right now. Should I be happy to find my mate or sad cause he unfortunately turned to be a HUMAN! .

" Olivia, what happened? Why did you run, suddenly?" Aaron asked when he and Jayden comes closer me. I didn't said anything. No words was coming from my mouth.

"Your eyes are red" Jayden says shocked.

"Mate" i said not drifting my eyes off from Derek. It was like he was the only thing that i could see at the moment. He was pulling me like a magnet.

" What ?" Aaron said shocked looking at the direction of where my eyes on.

"Derek?" Jayden says confused not fully understanding the situation.

" WHAT? Your mate is Derek!" Aaron and Jayden said aloud in unison looking at me confused but shocked.

I was same as them, confused. It is impossible to have a human as my mate. It was something that only happened in stories.

It takes my whole strength to look away from him. I wanted to go to him, hold him and even kiss him but i turned away walking out of the library. I don't want to but i had to. I walked far away leaving the most addictive scent of Jasmine and pine. It felt like hell.

I was sitting in the Alpha room of my father listening him saying about the possibilities of werewolfs having a human mate. Aaron and Sarah was standing behind me and Jayden was with Mia outside waiting for us.

"Olivia, It is possible to have human mate. But it was something rarely happened. I heard of something similar like this also happened at the time of my grandfather was a pack alpha but it happened for a witch." Father says.

"But they rejected ea-" I growled at him showing my fangs.My eyes were turning back and forth from deep red to blue . How dare he to say i should reject my mate. I won't allow anyone to harm my mate.

" Don't ever say that." I warned not caring who it was.The only thing i am sure about that i wanted my mate and no one can stop me.

" Olivia, calm down. I didn't means to say you should reject your mate. I know how strong the mate bond is and how protective you are for your mate as an Alpha." Father says in soothing voice trying to makes me calm. I taked some deep breaths closing my eyes trying to control myself.

" This type of pairing happened a long ago and we don't know how it's works. So it must be difficult for you but i will support you whatever decision you takes " Father says squeezing my hands giving me a reassuring smile.

" Thank you father." I said with a smile grateful for his understanding.

Father dismissed everyone but i waited.

"Anything else, Olivia?."Father asked raising his one eyebrow with a little bit of confusion at the same time concerned.

"I-I am sorry Father. I shouldn't have growled at you.I couldn't Control myself" I said guilty and genuinely sorry for what i have done.

" It's okay , darling. Don't need to apologies. I know how you feel when it's about your mate. I can understand."he said patting my shoulder makes me smile back at him. I was grateful to get Alpha Alexander as my father.

Jayden 's pov

I was waiting for everyone to come out from the alpha 's room. They are taking too much time and it's making me anxious.

I don't know how it is possible to werewolfs to get a human mate. I didn't even hear about these types of things before. I felt bad for Olivia, she always wanted to find her mate and live happily ever after but now i don't what is she going to do.

" Jay , why are they taking too much time?" Mia asked worried leaning close to me.

" Don't know, Maybe, Alpha Alexander know something about human mates." I says gaining a small nodd from her. She was cute when she looked worried.

" You don't need to be worried, our Olivia is going to be okay." I said patting her hair chuckling.

"Don't do that,jay." She says looked like a red tomato makes me to want to pinch her both cheeks. It was fun to irritate her.

" Are you okay? Why are you so red?" I asked worried.

" N-Nothing. I-I'm just c-cold."she said shuttering.

"Why did you come here then? You should have stayed at home." I says putting my coat on her. She was looking down even more red now. Why can't she take care of herself?. Does she think that i will be with her everytime?. I shakes my head worried thinking about possibilities of Mia having a fever or cold.

"Is she alright?" I asked Aaron when they come out. Olivia excused herself saying she was tired but I know she was not okay.

" Yeah, probably." Aaron said sighing.

"I can't believe it is possible to have a human mate." I says concerned for Olivia.

" Me too. It's my first time even hearing about it." He says looking terrified. I was terrified too, what if my mate is also a human. I can't even think about it. I don't even wanted anyone as my mate.

I don't believe in destined pairs. How could we love someone without even knowing anything about them. The mate bonding was a totally bullshit.

Olivia 's pov

I was looking at the moon, which was shining brightly in the dark night giving light even in dark. I was confused. Everything turned upside down within a day but i wasn't not sad. It was a moment that i don't know what to do.

" Come in" i said hearing the knock on my door.

" Olivia , Are you okay?" Mom asked taking my hands in hers.

" Yeah, i think." I said not to worry her.

" You know when I found out your dad was my mate i was hella terrified. He was known as the most feared and dreadful Alpha at that time." She says chuckled being nostalgic.

" Everyone said I'm doomed and pitied me .Even me, myself believed that and wanted to reject your father. But my fate was something else. Look, now i am happy and we have you." She says smiling squeezing my hand.

"When it comes to life, we spin our own yarn, and where we end up is really, in fact, where we always intended to be.So don't need to worry, " mom said caressing my cheeks with one hand.

" Go to sleep, Everything is going to be fine" she said after giving me a kiss on my forehead.

" Good night, mom." I says smiling at her. Mom was there whenever I needed her the most.

I looked again at moon, who was giving light to everyone even in darks. It remained me of my mate. His handsome face, the deep golden brown eyes that i can lost forever.I smiled thinking of our first encounter. The way we bumped into each other and how he glared at me. I actually thought him as a weirdo. That was funny when i think about it, now.

I can't wait to see him again. Maybe mom was right, there will be a reason for everything to happen and i believe there is some reason behind the moon goddess to choose Derek as my mate. Maybe he is the one i needed, the most.

I hope everything to be fine.
