CHAPTER 37-LOVE IN THE AIR

Olivia's pov

"So tell me, why are you here so early in the morning?" Derek asks walking infront of me yawning but i could only look at his half naked upper body which is in completly on show.  He looked hot even in mornings.  His bed hair was messy and was sticking to different directions but it only made him even more sexier.

"Huh..do i need a reason to come and see my mate?" I shrugged not minding the slightest irritation in his voice.

"No, you don't but don't you think it's too early in the morning. I think the time is only just six or something." He complains facing me crossing his arms over his chest raising his eyebrow. Why does i feel like he is scolding me?. I wanted to see my mate and isn't enough reason to come here?. He acts the same as before and why am the only one who is so restless after our confessions?. It pisses me off!.

"I missed you and i thought you missed me too. It's okay, if you don't want me here. I will go back right now. Sorry for distributing your beautiful morning!." I said turning back. Does he think i am so desperate to meet him or something?. I am an idiot to postpone pack's duty and come to his house on this beautiful weekends. Really who does he think i am!!

"Oli... wait!" He says stopping me pulling me into his hard chest, hugging me from the back. I wanted to glare at him but the slightest touch of him made sparks on my body and it was enough to melt any anger left in me.

"You know i didn't mean it like that. I like you coming here and you are welcome to my house at any time. Sorry for earlier. It was just that,i am not a morning person at all, especially on the weekends" He  says resting his head on my shoulder and whispering on my ears. A shiver run through me when his lips slightly grazed over my ear shell.Huh.. i didn't think he would apologise for something so simple and i wasn't that mad too.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Are you still mad at me babe." Derek says seductively leaning even closer to my ears, hiding his face on the crook of my neck fully. I was quite taken back from his sudden change of role. Wasn't he just apologising to me earlier?.

"I am not mad but stop doing whatever you are trying to do now, unless you want me to do something more to you." i said punching him in his stomach using my elbow. He stumbled backward holding his stomach looking he is in pain.

"That's hurts, you know" he says hissing in pain trying to straight up but failed miserably.

"Sorry, does it hurt?" I asks concerned holding his hand and helping him but only to get a threating glare form him.

"What? Are you kidding me?,Of course it's hurts!. What you think how does it feel to get a sudden punch from an Alpha like you?. I am not a werewolf  like you guys are but just a mere and weak human, understood?" He says narrowed brows.

"What? A mere and weak human?" I asks couldn't hold back my laugh.

"Why are you laughing?. I don't think i said any jokes here!." He says irritated but it's only makes me laugh more. He roll his eyes before walking to his room leaving me behind.

"Where is Riya?" I asks following him to his room. I remember the first time i was in his room. I wasn't sure at that time there will be a day like this. The day i can call him mine.

"She is at Blake's house. Blake's family is our family friends and his mom is just like my mom. So riya often love to sleep over there." He says crawling back to the bed.

"I see" i say nodding my head.

"Come here, babe." Derek says patting the side of his bed adjusting the bedsheet looking straight at me. What?. Why is he calling me to his bed?. Did he really take it seriously about what i said earlier?.

I wasn't planning to do anything today but when he is giving  me this kind of look and inviting me to his bed, how can I say no. Is this why he send riya to Blake's house? But how did he know i was coming over today?. Whatever if he wants to do it who am I to complain. In most of the cases of werewolfs mating and marking will complete within a week of after finding the mate. I was waiting patiently  just because i wasn't sure about, does Derek wants to take another step or not. If he's okay, i am double okay.

"So you did take what i said seriously, huh?" I asks giving him the seductive smile. I was in cloud nines.

"What are you saying? Just comes here idiot." He says pulling me besides him and hugging me. I was frozen by the close proximity of our faces.

"Let's cuddle and sleep some more time. I am really sleepy." He says closing his eyes with a smile hugging me. Cuddling? What?. Nothing more but just cuddling to sleep?.So this is what he meant earlier?. I sighed looking at my sleeping mate before closing my eyes hugging him back.

Whatever, cuddling is not too bad if it's with him.
