[ the screen goes pitch black again before cutting to a first person pov to show someone walking through the halls of yokosuka university. ]
beware, beware, be skeptical
[ the other students in the hall turn to the viewer with the upper halves of their faces covered in shadow, only revealing their wide smiles as they watch the viewer continue down the hallway. ]
of their smiles, their smiles of plated gold

but a wolf in sheep's clothing is more than a warning
[ the screen cuts to black yet again before da'vante is shown. his arms are crossed and he appears to be staring at someone. ]
"baa baa, black sheep, have you any soul?"
[ it is revealed that da'vante was staring at imai, who seems to have heard the unspoken question, for he turns around to face his adoptive brother, smile as arrogant as ever as he answers ... ]
"no, sir, by the way, what the hell are mortals?"
